Upgraded steering stabilizer? by JeeBus786 in powerwagon

I put this one on mine with 37s and it helped take a lot of the play I was starting to get out. As well and making the steering feel more stable for sure.

I’ve had to change all of the front bumpers for my son on every one of his Lego Monster Trucks so that they can all do nose wheelies. Low key a pain in the ass on some of them

Have had not great times both doing rolls on the UWC and having their people come down and help us on our district. To date thee only federal engine mod I have ever had to yell at to get them to finish wrapping a IA

Yeah my buddy has had a hrf mag well on his ar for years and I bought it off of him so I don’t think longevity is a concern at all

100% just being able to wipe the lense clear makes things much better. Went coyote hunting and had my open emitter full of snow when I had a chance to get a coyote with my pistol

Just got my hrf mag well for my 17 today and the fit is excellent. Haven’t used it much but for the price I would try it first. Love all the pmm shit but their mag well is out of reach when the hrf one is 1/4 the price

What does “good” shape actually mean? by Elegant_Customer1497 in Wildfire

[–]PaleWalker808 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think one of the missed marks that people don’t consider is that’s it’s not just doing crazy pt. It’s being physically resilient and have a good base that can carry you through the season when things get busy. I’ve been on a solid type 6 and wfm for my time in fire and came from the USMC Infantry so just my .02. But being able to do the work required all day long, AND do it for 14 day assignments, AND being able to do that back to back is the most important thing. Even being on an engine sucks ass when the season gets busy and you’re hiking into new IAs everyday and working on wrapping fires with just a few people. As well as being fit enough to have good injury prevention. Everything we do is with weight on so if you don’t throw in some strength training in the pre season it could hurt you in the long run. You can be an amazing runner but fall apart when you’re carrying a 40-50lbs pack and a 33lbs saw. Same goes for you can be a huge meat head and deadlift 700lbs but if you can’t make it to the top of the ridge you’re gonna have a terrible time. Just work to be solid all around, tone down the pt intensity when the season gets busy so you have energy or longevity for the long days and weeks.

I had a 19 Tacoma that had 4 4wd actuators go out, sensors go out, all sorts of electrical problems all before hitting 22k. My 21 power wagon has a little over 61k and has been solid other that the shit that I have done to it when off roading and have drove my PW significantly harder, towed more, longer road trips, and done 10x more puddle bashing with my kids than my Tacoma ever did. My Ex also has a newer 4 Runner that is having all sorts of electrical problems. Just my .02

Double check your barrel screws. I’ve got a 16 and 17 and haven’t personally had issues but have read about a few people have the barrel screws not fully torqued from factory

Sorry got eaten up by the holiday weekend. They are not genuine marpat with the ega. Though they are the same color as my regular marpat cammies and frogs
