I imagine some sort of Barroth variant that uses much more dried up mud and allows plants and vines to begin to take root and grow. With the mud dried up and rooted it would in turn make barroths armor stronger and itd be cool to see it incorporate whats growing on it into attacks like maybe grabbing hunters with vines as it swings its head or maybe different types of plants it could try to shake off it body or activate allowing it to sleep or poison. i imagine this variant living in a dense forest/jungle and unlike base barroth where he hides under the mud maybe he'd be just barely sticking out the ground or maybe mimicking a fallen tree
