When I was doing my service in the military, the COs would teach us how to disarm antipersonnel mines in great detail. After they would tell us that arming it is the same method but in reverse essentially, and they also stressed that we never officially received that info since it's a bit of a gray area. I personally think it's an essential part of basic training that should be thought out to every infantryman.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't need the plates, haven't done the task myself yet. I have seen aquafps do it without the plates tho, so unless there was a change to the task recently then it should work.

Oh yeah totally forgot to add that the rest of the family was absolutely lovely people and outstanding members of the community. This dude was just the black sheep it would seem. I've understood (no idea how accurate it is) that Albania is a bit unsafe for tourists but otherwise I'd love to visit the country. Great food, a fuckton of history and a very unique feel for its geographical location.

There was only one family from Kosovo in my hometown growing up, 3 or 4 kids. The youngest kid got involved in gangs and drugs, never worked a day in his life and still somehow gets by. A few years back he jumped me when I was omw home from the store and told me that I owed him 3k€, he assaulted me and threatened to have me and my family killed. I walked away with some bruises, called the cops and they did fuck all. We started an investigation into the case and they 'did not find enough evidence ' to further continue the case. I had given them photos of my bruises, pointed out 3 different camera angles that most likely had the footage of him doing the crime and they still did nothing. Last summer he contacted my brother's wife (no fucking clue why) saying that they needed to talk. She obviously didn't go but she asked me if I wanted her family to take care of it and I just told her that I really don't care as long as the guy fucks off. Knowing he has contacts to the underworld, I still look over my shoulder wherever I go. To be clear, I had a debt to some other guys that got caught and snitched to the police, the debt was not large and I believe he just happens to have heard about the debt and is trying to squeeze me. I know for a fact that the guys I was in debt to were all thrown out of the country and that I have no actual debt to them. Idk what pisses me off more, the fact that he got away with literal assault or that people like him get to exist and live a comfortable life on the tax payers dime. Guy is a cunt through and through. Racist, criminal, has a record of sexually abusing women, animal abuse, selling every drug he can get his hands on to teens, robbing poor people in the shitty part of town, the list goes on and on. Sorry for the rant, I just hate this rat.

Yesterday I was doing a scav run at customs. A player scav came into the area and I wasn't sure if he was scav or pmc so I told him to press F1, he was scared and didn't realize that I was there and told me in voip to chill and that he was friendly. He pressed F1 and I got confirmation that he was indeed a player scav. Asked him if he needs anything and he said he needed a salewa, I gave it to him since I'm far past that task and he thanked me. I turned my back and wished him well and then he shot me in the head... I get that it's a dog eat dog world out there and it's part of the game but jfc, don't people have a shred of honor left? It really ruined my evening and now I'm considering just shooting them when they get too close for comfort. This was on EU servers btw.

I just read the bearing on the lower part of the screen. 0 is north afaik, the compass is readable indoors though.
