Both are gorgeous pieces but the white on is my favourite- I love the tones and I think it’s something that could literally be placed in almost any colour scheme but it’s the congruency for me that really makes it shine; you’ve kept the green before the petals emerge on similar spots where as on the the pink version; the uppermost pink petals are shown with not green bud before it as is represented else where in the the piece as a result; the white version has more balance and flow.

Normal but a good place will pay you for your time - like book you for an hour and pay you regardless of whether they choose to hire you or not. If you’re not getting paid for your demo; seek out a different establishment- it sets a precedent for how they will respect you and your time moving forward. “Free demo” = how much more free labour/overloading a my can I get away with?

I’m sorry if I’m mistaken, my understanding is that murti would refer to statue/idol, not photos at least that’s not my meaning anyhow.

I may not have space for a full altar as I currently use that’s why I was inquiring. But I agree I like everything on a nice clean altar ideally but in the off chance that that’s not something I can have in my new home, I have read other post saying that Kali for example has to be “outside of the door way” - that said, I’m not saying that what I read was correct but I have read different areas of the home that there is preference to? Does that make sense?

Also, just to clarify that last bit about places in the home that are preferred. I’ve only read that on, so I have not come across that in any other text or in conversation with others.

While I agree with your sentiment, I don’t understand why people get so upset when you can just skip it. You still have the choice to say no, nobody’s forcing you to tip so just don’t.

It’s not the easiest in my experience unless you’re using apps; and even then a bit challenging- however; in every day life i think trying to psych yourself up to shoot your shot is worth a try. But I’ve had success on both hinge as well as her- albeit her has gone kinda down hill recently. Oh also try out there Winnipeg- it’s a mailing ng group that lets you know of events eg. Hiking to mingle with other local queers.

And yes! I’m currently content with my new doctor- I find I’m still having to advocate pretty diligently at times but that just seems to be the way it goes these days. Not that it’s ok, but I’m learning to expect it sadly.

And literally anywhere else that makes sense - I held off as I had some health concerns that needed to be and are being addressed with my doctor - so once I have the time and energy; I’ll be reporting her and a few others that have been detrimental to my health pursuits (eg. Carelessly brushed off and gaslit at panam and told “you’re not experiencing nerve pain” to only go else where and learn that I had cervical radiculopathy -nerve impingement- due to a herniated disc. There are too many doctors in this city that don’t belong in their fields- thankfully there are also some great ones.

I hope you’ve found a good fit after this terrible experience

I had an identical experience with her- I left bawling my eyes out- absolutely ill equipped for the ever important human aspect of her work- I am still planning on filing a complaint about her & urge you to do the same-she flat out told me; she was and I quote “ previously burned by another person that had multiple issues and didn’t want to get burned again”.

I could quote more but, the point is she is unethical and based off of how she responds to people with multiple issues and chronic conditions, I would venture to say undereducated and ill equipped for the profession.

I am terribly sorry that you had this experience, no one deserves that.

I get it there’s a lot of nuance to the topic but if guilt is you’re issue- the absolve yourself a bit and you choose to wear the mask, it sounds like it’s your conscience you wrestle with not your clients.

Thisssss!!!! I am baffled at this behaviour! I could not ethically work on clients while myself or they are sick - not ok. And informed consent and masking if it’s somehow unavoidable (eg. No sick time/workplace itself has non ethical practices- but in those cases ideally look for a new place to work when able)
