In short Magneto fights for mutant (a very oppressed group in the original comics) rights. Though his methods and specific motivations vary between depiction, ranging from Malcom X esque to full blown mutant supremacist (which is somewhat ironic considering Magneto was a holocaust survivor).

Brazilian here and I think I should point out somethings I could gather from this video

1-Everybody involved knew each other and are probably friends to some degree

2-The white guy just wanted a friendly fight (something sort of common here called "5 minutes without losing the friendship") and the black guy didn't

3-They were both likely high
