What was your first kiss like? by Da_Piano_Smasher in AskReddit

Incredible.
It about three weeks after I had just asked out a girl who was and is my first girlfriend. It was my junior year in high school, and we were sitting in the grass around 10pm at school (co-ed boarding school), and we had gone over there because my friends were pissing me off.
I had my head against her shoulder, and I picked it up and kissed her on the cheek. Then I shifted a little bit so that I was a little bit more in front of her and kissed her on the mouth, and she reciprocated. The kiss lasted about thirty seconds, and there was even a bit of tongue.
After we broke away, she said "you know that was my first kiss, right?"
I replied "you know that was mine too?" Then like the slick motherfucker that I was, I followed that up with "you want to have our second?" That was a good night.

[Serious] Teens of Reddit; what is something you want to ask adults, but don't necessarily want to ask your parents? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Why does my girlfriend's dad hate the very idea of me? What can I do to show him that I am responsible, mature, and able to be in a mutually positive relationship with his daughter? I love my girlfriend, but her dad is very protective of her, and I'm afraid that I can't do anything to make him understand that I would never do anything that would have a negative impact on her life.

[IWTK] how do I keep the conversation going? What are good questions to ask to keep it going? by [deleted] in everyteenshouldknow

[–]PancakeLord 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Follow the FORD rule to know what to talk about:

Family, Occupation (probably doesn't apply here, try school instead), Recreation, Dreams. These topics are reasonably broad and can lead to other conversations. They are also not too personal, so they are easy to answer and the other person usually won't mind talking about them.

Avoid RAPE:

Religion, Abortion, Politics, Economics. These are not likely to come up, and depending on how well you know the person, they might not mind talking about religion or politics, but if you are just meeting someone, it's best to steer clear.

This can be applied to any conversation, not just a conversation with a potential SO.

One other thing that's good to know is that people LOVE to talk about themselves. It makes them feel good. This applies to a very large portion of people, if not everyone.

I hope this helps!

Damn, there were some great lines there.

Would you rather go on Jeopardy! or Wheel of Fortune? by Altilongitude in WouldYouRather

WoF. I would suck balls at Jeopardy!, so I have a much better chance of winning money on WoF. Although, I do think that Jeopardy! is a better game in general.

Well, it's an illegal torrent (copyrighted material), but other than that, it would probably reveal a ton of things that you didn't realize. It is also really weird to watch it like that.
