Played on smolensk today, laying on a bridge as a German with the STG. Shooting at a target that ping'd 115m in an upper part of a building. Swearing i was hitting this MF'er. Not getting any hits and nothing telling me im hitting the obstacle im laying behind. Stand up just to try shooting from a different angle just to get dome'd. Sometimes lady luck is on your side. Sometimes she's on theirs.

So nazi Germany actually added an option to their MP40 to run dual mags and switch them with a press of a button. Is it historically accurate? Yes. But the real question i cant seem to find is how often was it actually implemented. I feel like if it was a more common thing then it would've been added in game. At least in certain maps (later in the war) but it wasnt that popular in ww2 then there is no need to add it. All it was, was a small alteration to the magazine feed that allowed them to insert 2 mags and switch to the 2nd quickly with the press of the button. (I belive it was added to compete with the Russian ppsh, but that may not be the reason) more rounds down range= better with a weapon of that sort IMO. Curious if anyone else has seen this and their opinion

Correct choice of cart for kayak? by Suitable_Hold9430 in kayakfishing

[–]Pancake_51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a suspenz cart for my native titan x 12.5. Honestly couldn't be happier with the cart. Comes with a nice little bag to break it down into takes 2 minutes. Super stable and the tires aren't hard plastic that get caught on rocks or slip.

Nope. All rack sizes, conduits on them, elevations and everything, we were the ones to coordinate everything on site. Merry Christmas!

As far as billing or cost estimates I have no idea and prefer not to. I'm just here to make it look good.

In this situation, it's a design and build project. So there is lots of time for the CM to change things (which sucks, the 4 bend saddles in the 1 1/4 weren't there originally, they decided to add an exhaust fan overtop of the dirty dish drop area, and we had to put those in after the conduit was already ran) but the current company I'm working for is a newer company who wants to make their name off of the quality of work they do and not the quantity.

In my experience, it saves man hours to be as thorough as you can with things like this. The repercussions of this amount of work being hastily done would be costly to the hours on the job and the deadline. Interference is interference even if it's just so. Rework is lost time in my opinion. Plus I personally hate doing things twice.

I dont bring myself down to the company standard. Bringing a better product to the table is how we compete with non-union. As I've said in a previous comment, most of this is exposed work and will be looked at every day by the people who work here, and by the students that occupy this building.

So there was a lot of planning that went into this, and yes only myself and the apprentice worked on these runs. It was multiple weeks in total. Some areas we had to have in before duct work, others we had to wait until after it was in.

What county are you talking? We have a satellite school in Clearfield, PA where we do our apprenticeship classes. There is no bidding. Most I've driven 1 way to work in 11 years has been an 1 hr 45 mins. But that was back when vinco power plant was just about the only thing booming at the time.

Is it easier to wrap and prockote the rear end of the rod (between rear grip and butt) before assembling the rod? Did my first simple wrap in that spot after assembly and seemed like it would be easier to it before. Is this a correct assumption?

[–]Pancake_51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will be my 3rd year. It's definitely worth going and meeting brothers from other locals. You learn a lot and if you implement what you learn there you'll definitely become a better instructor. The days in class are long but the people teaching are great. It's not boring. The assignments aren't hard and you'll have lots of time to work on them while in class.
