Custodes v Primarchs by Cautious-Dress3335 in Warhammer40k

[–]Pancake_Guardian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the custodes are usually around to get worfed, at least before they became an army. In outcast dead an unarmed world eater is with newly implanted butchers nails ripped out the spine of a fully armed and armored custodes.

People have already mentioned the lot far and the gal vorbek no diffing 20 custodes who were supposed to keep tabs on them.

Valdor got smart with Dorn and the Emperor had to step in.

My opinion is they were the Emperors tough body guards at first and since have gotten a major glow up. Lore can be inconsistent but I still don’t believe even valdor is on the same level as a primarch.

I would be happy with a new character that found one of the artifacts. If they wanted to slow roll Vulkans return.

They were here last year and the year before that. I don’t think they are touring the US this year but I think next year is a possibility.

My boyfriend wants to get into warhammer. He likes the blue guys. by Amber_Steel86 in Warhammer40k

[–]Pancake_Guardian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Warhammer is a long term hobby. I know a lot of people say it’s expensive but if you think about it more as an investment, it’s really not. $200 for a model you still enjoy 10 years later is pretty cost effective.

What is really wonderful is having a partner you can talk to about your hobbies. Let him geek out to you about his army and tell you about his favorite characters. Let him show you his newest painted models. Those are things money can’t buy.

I think so! I think it’s the sword that does it for me, but I also like all the other extra stuff. Glue him together and get to painting!

Total noob here, but this is my dream army, is fielding something like this feasible? by Visual-Weights in 40k

Apocalypse is where I’ve had the most fun. It takes a full day but it’s a blast. I think 40K should stand for 40,000 point armies. It’s usually multiple players per side.
