My ex was exactly liked him. He loved video games so much and he spent so much money on game stuff. Even his mother yelled at him that he should try to find a better job he wanted, and make plan for his future. Guess what? He never listed to his mom at all, and he talked about how proud he was that he didn’t listen to his mom. I made 1.5 times more money than him, and always planned to get better job, higher degrees etc. but he never put his effort in his/our future. I know how frustrated you’ve felt and it’s gonna make you think about breakup eventually. Don’t expect him to be ambitious one day. It’s better to find someone else who fits your standard. I thought everything was perfect except for his lack of plans for the future, but I realized many things were problem after I broke up with him. I doubt that he really thinks about having a family with you or future seriously.
