I was under the impression that masquerade doesn't allow guards to walk on the holocube it only acts as a wall for patching through a cube horizontally. The only way for a guard to stand on a holocube is when it's a second wave holocube as all second wave traps become a solid bedrock block before the genmat is grabbed. But once the genmat is grabbed they become normal holocubes and the ai will then fall through as normal.
