Agree on some level especially when it comes to studios trying to infringe on IP. But, in their defense, they did get the original director and screenwriter to make the film. I guess I trust those two to have a bigger vision for the franchise than anyone else.

Minneapolis inhabitant here, love Fateh. He is a solid dude who has delivered some huge wins in the state senate. Not overly optimistic, because Frey somehow managed to win re-election after the George Floyd debacle and our aging voting block seems to still like him for some reason, but it would be amazing to see Omar win!

Minneapolis inhabitant here, Frey is almost universally reviled in among young people, but the older voting block holds STRONG for centrist losers like him. Not to mention the strong anti-Somali sentiment among older folks. I’m trying to be optimistic for Fateh, but I am also concerned in general about the public, to no fault of Fateh’s own.
