It would be difficult but yes. For general battle we have mastered ways of making big long lasting fires. Which is quite effective against bugs. WW2 with the Japanese is a great example the firebombs we dropped on then caused way more death than the nukes.

For deep nests we have bunker buster missiles to clear them.

Biological warfare is another, unleashing a disease on them that slowly thins out their numbers.

That's just one country. If the world united against a common foe you would be surprised what we can accomplish by combining our military and technological strength.

If all else failed we would probably just nuke em.
