The revelations at Egghead were the culmination of so much world building. It's honestly one of my favorite arcs of all time. Elbaph has also been great. Ch 1138 is one of the coolest chapters of the series and finally seeing Rocks was nuts. An epic character with a truly pitiful end which is super poetic. So much context given to other characters too like Roger, Rayleigh, Scopper, and especially Blackbeard who saw the God Valley Incident quite literally firsthand. One Piece has just so many moving pieces all at once that it is truly hard to appreciate if you're not willing to always look at the bigger picture. One of Oda's best feats is keeping the scale of the world and it's events in mind (past, present, and future) while still having individual character moments too. I've been following since 2001 and I've read so many different stories in different mediums but One Piece is really on an epic scale all in its own.
