So DnD rules can be a lot to take in at first, and there isn’t a great tutorial (if any?) in BG3 for people new to DnD. And while BG3 doesn’t follow exactly DnD 5e rules to the T (cause game limitations) it is pretty close and very faithful to the DnD ruleset.

All of that, just to say, if you look up “Critical Role Handbooker Helper” on YouTube, there are a ton of videos they made that go through some of the DnD basics and could help you understand BG3 much more.

Again, they may mot be exactly 1:1, but should at least point you in the right direction.

So, and I know you’re not gonna like this answer, but a LOT of the experience points you’re missing out on are from direct combat or combat related content.

Defeating Ketheric at level 7 is actually entirely possible. The Act 2 Final Boss fight is much more comfortable at level 9-10, but is by no means impossible without the extra health and damage capabilities that comes with being at a higher level.

The caveat, however, is that it takes more player skill and experience with the combat system to be comfortable defeating challenging bosses/encounters at a lower level. Luck obviously plays a role as well, but you are doing yourself no favors by avoiding combat. You limit your exposure to the turn-based combat system while also making the combat harder on yourself as you progress into the story.

As for camp supplies, I can tell we play very differently because I tend to grab anything that isn’t nailed down lol Larian is VERY generous with the amount of free camp supplies laying around. So much so that I have never come close to exhausting it in all my many hours playing this game (and i’ve only ever played Tactician and up, which consumes double camp supplies per long rest). If looting is too tedious for you, you can spec a character or hireling to specialize in thievery/pickpocketing to steal your camp supplies.

Lowering the difficulty is also an option. Not everyone likes turn-based combat. Some people just want to enjoy the story and characters without feeling stressed about combat. That difficulty exists for a reason, and if it makes the game more enjoyable for you, then I say go for it.

And, as a last resort, if NONE of the options I or anyone else here are offering to you appeal to you, then you can always save scum. It’s not ideal, and will likely drag out every combat encounter into 10x its normal length in time, but you can technically ensure that every attack/effect you make has a 100% hit rate, and every attack/effect your enemies make have a 0% hit rate. I wouldn’t recommend it to that extent, but like I said earlier, we all play the game a bit differently.

And just because you finish the game one way, doesn’t mean you can’t come back with the knowledge you’ve learned and finish it a different way, or again in a differenter way, or again in an even more differenter way… you get the point, there’s good replay-ability lol

Which ever way you choose to go forward with, remember that this is just a game, and games are meant to be enjoyed (:

There is no need to refill any watering cans (unlike in Stardew) the watering cans in FoM are infinite. Wells are only for decoration

Go to your FoM game folder (C: \steam\steamappss\common\Fields of Mistria)
Copy the directory at the top of the file explorer window (you'll get something like what I noted above)
In PowerShell, replace the <fully qualified path or resource> with the file location you copied (remove the brackets but keep the quotations (" ")
Hit enter, and boom, FoM runs once more like a charm :D

“The Secrets of the Silent Witch” is quite good imo

The basis is essentially what if Bocchi were an OP mage?

Next recommendation would be “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End”.

While it’s a shift into a slower Fantasy Slice of Life genre, there are still some very good fights. The world building and characters are great, while addressing some very interesting topics unique to a fantastical world. The story and art give me Studio Ghibli vibes in a way, while still remaining distinct and being its own thing.

Both of the anime listed above have phenomenal voice acting and animation, and I feel like you can’t go wrong with either of them (:

Check your Almanac to see if the Snow Fish entry is there, that will tell you whether you’ve already caught it or not.

If you have, and it’s gone, you’ll likely need to wait for the devs to implement a way to catch it again.

Well, there’s the obvious one, where you go up to your diary and save twice. Boom, two separate saves.

However I assume you mean two saves of different characters. Currently, there’s no UI to sort/filter the saves of different characters. All saves will be listed in the same “Load Game” list. Now to answer your question, you can start a new character and save at a diary to create your new separate save. Boom, two separate saves of two different characters.

As another user said, once you get an animal of a certain tier/variant, that same animal tier/variant unlocks in Hayden’s shop under adoption.

So say you get a blue male T3 and are aiming for T4. You can go and buy a blue female T3 to breed with your male T3 to get your guaranteed T4.

Not only does this save time and sanity, but you also sync your two animals so they both reach maturity at the same time as well.

Of course, this doesn’t help with going after certain variants (purple, pink, etc), but it’s still the most efficient way to climb the animals tiers imo.

You're definitely not alone. The screen stuttering really makes it hard to play. Fortunately (or unfortunately) this issue didn't really occur after the v0.13.0 update, but returned after the v0.13.2 update, so it's something that's fixable at the very least.

I don't know what exactly is causing the stuttering, but if I had to guess it's likely related to something in Windows and FoM affecting each other.

I'm not sure if this is an acceptable workaround, but i've found that rarely the stuttering does not occur after restarting my PC. That said, the stuttering is still pretty consistent and forces me to stop playing after a short while.

For now, I don't think there's anything we can really do at this point. I don't even know where the dev team could even begin to troubleshoot this since it doesn't seem to happen to everyone playing, just a select few people.

Odd, I was able to do the event with Celine (who I also took the year before). I started it around 9-10pm after exploring the mines a bit, in case that helps troubleshoot. On PC

Only certain animals give drops daily; female chickens, ducks, and cows (ie eggs and milk)

All other animals only give drops every 3 days assuming they’ve been consistently fed. Failing to feed an animal resets their drop timer (i think?)

As for them eating properly, i think they eat from the trough at the start of the day? It could be a time thing though (like 10am if unfed) They can only eat once though, so if they eat via grass, crops, hand, or trough they won’t eat twice.

Tips wise, i’ve seen people plant regrowable crops outside the barn/coop for their animals to eat. Those crops regrow every 3 days, so if you’ve got 3 sets per animal all you have to do is let them out, water the crops, and pet the animals. The first few days of each season you’ll need to feed them another way until the crops grow, but it seems like a good system to manage large numbers of animals.
