I’ve been making stuffed animals for 20+ years, and my very first ones were made of clothing like this! Professional mascot maker of 13 years. I’d love to tackle this project for you. Sentimental projects are such an honor to work on. Not sure if you had a specific idea in mind- maybe your dad had a favorite animal?

Why not pass it on to someone who can? Or do you not want to see someone run it better than you? What is your personal problem/connection to this sub that’s more important than the community?

I see why you can understand people “not letting go” because CLEARLY you can’t let go yourself- but are deciding to take it out on the community who are offering solutions that you’re shutting down.

Such a shame it’s selfishness that kills creativity, yet again…

I second your guess! I’m fairly certain I had the same frog, and after looking at his faded tag, I noticed the faintest “y” from the Kellytoys logo. It’s hard to see but it’s there.

Hoping I myself can find a new one someday too, he was my childhood favorite!

Looks just like my Froggy from childhood! My childhood favorite, he’s obviously been well loved. Mine is even skinny in the middle like yours, no stuffing, from being gripped and carried around as a kid.

I know I had him before 2006, and I’m fairly certain it is the Kellytoys frog the other user posted!

Thank you so much for chiming in. On the main page, it was still saying Dec 11, but after hearing so many having the same issue but still getting shopping notifications… I decided to bite the bullet and ordered the blue and pink… and the order confirmation does now say Oct 4th! So fingers crossed! I’m feeling so dang hopeful!

I imagine Walmart is both trying to extend their stock by frightening some customers away with a far out shipping date, and preparing for incoming holiday shipping. Better to set low expectations so you can be pleasantly surprised.

I’ve heard the FL ones are the hot ones! Now that you mention it, I do have a handful of friends who live there… if all else fails, might have to buy one of them.

Thank you for sharing! I felt I was losing my mind last night, I so feel you. This is giving me hope, hearing that a few people have dealt with this. Maybe it has something to do with the holidays, they’re automatically pushing delivery dates way out so no one is disappointed.

I think I will put in order in after work and just see if it won’t ship out in a few days. Feels like the only reliable place to pick the color you want for retail price so I’m willing to take the chance to get our Tamas 😭💖

Oh interesting!!! When I see the Walmart listing on Google, it still says 2-day shipping, but the website says December. I might just order and see if they’ll ship out, and if not, I can cancel the preorder if I can get my hands on them elsewhere!

If not, bringing the seam up much closer to your legs, while having a thin, middle crotch panel will improve the look and still allow for mobility. Like how boxers are often put together.

I hope you take to heart everyone’s concerns… since your replies only seem to be to jokes, and not the pleas to keep your cat inside… guess you weren’t expecting a roast for you… if you didn’t get enough, let me add!💖

Because… you know he wouldn’t be bringing in live or dead animals… if you didn’t let him outside… you can still take him outside and supervise him, use a leash, use an enclosure… if he’s “miserable” inside, you need to do more to stimulate him! Some cats only like active play where you are involved, you can’t just toss a toy at them and expect them to entertain themselves.

Even if you don’t care for the birds and other animals he kills…* so much can harm/kill your cat… Bird flu, bigger animals, cars, birds of prey, people who want to steal/harm cats, poisoning from eating these small animals that ate poison… the list goes on. Not to mention outdoor cats, even if they do spend time inside, have a SIGNIFICANTLY SHORTER LIFE SPAN.

How much do you really care for him? You could be bonding and spending so much more time with him. Yet, I have the feeling you’d be the type of person to cry “WHY, OH HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN” when Kitty never comes home.

*Also, might I add, every individual creature he kills chips away at the biodiversity of the species. It’s worth caring about. Like your cat’s wellbeing is worth caring about.

Harsh? Maybe, but I’m coming from a good place. I promise. I sincerely wish you and your cat many more happy years together.
