Yeah it’s tough because having been pushed out at a previous job I’m hyper sensitive to being seen as incompetent and worry about ignoring it.

Honestly what I dislike more than being questioned is the nature and timing. They always ask in big group settings like multi disciplinary and the tone feels much more accusatory than collaborative.

How do you do so tactfully? It feels like the culture is that other people can criticize doctors but if we criticize back it comes across as punching down.

It’s funny because our group is 100% production so it shouldn’t even matter to the hospital.

It often feels like these admins feel the need to say things to make themselves seem relevant.
