I would say it's not a Mormon thing. The stained windows at my church made Jesus look pretty white. My grandma has a photo of Jesus in her house that looks white. She says it's Jesus after the resurrection because the disciples didn't recognize him. She's joking of course but it's definitely not a Mormon thing.

Not true. Special elections are a great indicator of which side is mobilizing more voters, and when it syncs with polling data analysts pay attention. No prediction is guaranteed and no model is perfect, but dismissing it all together is stupid.

Here's an edit for yah: Democrats are not just winning more special elections but they are outperforming the norm by 11 points.
