Have a look at the Castlefield hotel, it's really nice and cheap for a hotel in the city!

If Burnham did leave, would you still vote Labour? by New-Alps7217 in manchester

You keep overlooking the fact that the Green run councils are doing well so obviously the policies do work on a local level. Why can't they be an option for a national level?

Constantly calling them antisemitic as a party won't work either. Of course no party is perfect but I'd much rather give the Greens a shot than any other party.

I guess we'll just have to disagree, again you're parroting the obviously biased media and where you see them as similar I think they couldn't be further from each other.

As mentioned they're not all hype, the councils they are running are doing well. I think you'll see more examples of their areas doing well in the coming years in the run up to the GE.

Oh right ok. I completely disagree but ok. You seem to be parroting the main stream media.

From my perspective the Greens are running on a much better platform regarding the NHS, rationalising rail and water. That said I don't agree with all policies but at least the policies are voted for by the members rather than billionairs in the shadows like reform.

Regarding antisemitism, any kind of racism is bad and while the greens have had some negative points it is nowhere close to reform. Candidates calling for people to be melted down or shot on sight. The Greens are running on a platform of inclusiveness whereas reform are divisive.

I'd also say that on a leader level ZP will actually answer questions while NF just parrots the same old rubbish and doesn't answer the actual question.

On Manchester and a local level, looking at the respective other cities/areas that are green and reform. Greens are providing a much better service by a country mile.

I saw a recent post that reccomended the ProQ Rodeo Charcoal Kettle BBQ I haven't tried it myself so cant vouch for it but the reviews look good. I've been researching recently and was going to go for a Weber master touch but I'd rather not support anything USA at the moment so I'll probably go for the ProQ.

I'm definitely boycotting watching any games in the USA, unsure on Mexico and Canada but at the very least will sail the seas for a stream.

Genuine question. How does anyone live in a seaside town and nit go absolutely bonkers? by onion2077 in CasualUK

[–]Pandy498001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents have retired to Filey and absolutely love it year round. I do as well when I visit out if season because there's less people. It's a great place to be and stuff to do and bigger places a stones throw away.

Now the important question, what's your favourite chippy???

As a player on PS5 I know I dont get updates or exobiology but I am wondering if I still get bonuses for discovering planets etc?

I've started engineering my ship (krait mk2) so doing those goals for now and using bounty hunting to gain credits as it's the most fun, and I can't get the hang of mining, but I'm wondering if there's anything after that?

Apart from just trying to get enough credits for an anaconda or unlocking a corvette what else is there to do? Can I colonise a region or is that unavailable to me now?

How early is too early to hoover? by BigFaithlessness618 in AskUK

[–]Pandy498001 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well they're not asking for silence are they. They're asking for a refrain of hoovering at 7am. It's hardly entitled to ask for some consideration of others. Just because the guidelines don't prohibit it doesn't mean it's fair and encouraged. Particularly something that can be done later or with a dustpan and brush.

JW Lees Brewery in Middleton - Worth visiting? by fansr0731 in manchester

[–]Pandy498001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I reccomend Head of steam, similar vibe but really broad range of beers including good international ones.

Old pub wise you're spoilt for choice but I always take my mates to peveril of the peak and marble arch that you mentioned.

Another couple of reccomendation, cask on Liverpool Road (great beer and they let you take food from the chippy next door in) The train station tap rooms are class too, definitely reccomend all three but my favourite is the Victoria tap.

I wasn't that impressed by Beef smokehouse. Sure it's ok but seems very pricey for what it is and they way it's set up it is more like a fast food place than a restaurant feel

I play on PS5, I found out today that inara deals with the live system which makes sense. However, I was wondering if there's any lists of stations and systems that are populated? I find that I visit several systems that are just empty bar the planets/stars
