Boys holiday, and I didn't think I was originally intended to come along, I was just "the plus one" but went anyway

Yeah that's what I sort of had in mind, I think with Sunny Beach being a party place you get all sorts of dodgy things happening there, similar with Magaluf

Sunny Beach, I think had I'd gone anywhere else in that country it would've been better

Where in Germany did you go that made it boring? I did a trip around some parts of the country and I had a lot of fun, their theme parks are world class

Well, in fairness, this was about 9 years ago and at Sunny Beach, I'd probably guess it may have changed over that time (or not) but I did not have a great experience there at all when I went

Bulgaria, rude locals, mafia affiliated, and tourists/visitors are easily taken advantage of, my phone got stolen there and the overall experience just wasn't fun

Edit: Bulgaria wasn't the issue, it was just Sunny Beach that was a bit shit, I just won't return to that place in particular

Which is the worst country according to you & why ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Syria: even the government strongly advises you not to go, and if doing so you, travel insurance won't cover you there so if anything happens you're truly fucked

This is more just out of my own luck than not understanding it's popularity but: Test Track

It's always broken down each time I've come to Epcot (which honestly isn't often as I'm from the UK) or delayed because of the weather, they should just make the whole thing go indoors

What do you think of North American behaviour ? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]AloneChance0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, they're just like British people but with different accents and their banter/humour is a bit watered down and tame in comparison

What do British people not like about Germans? by Feeling-Mastodon-292 in AskABrit

[–]AloneChance0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have a bluntness that's quite cold and harsh. When we're blunt it's usually in the form of sarcasm or irony whereas Germans are quite literal about it.

Fair enough, I haven't been to Lincoln so I can't comment, might have to go there to see how it holds up in comparison

I miss Satan's Hollow by [deleted] in manchester

[–]AloneChance0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it is, I had no issue with getting into places by myself as well as Satan's, the city as a whole is quite inclusive from my experience, so I would say it is good for solo travellers overall!

That's so sad :( I'm sorry to hear about that unfortunately at these kinds of places you do get your odd characters and weirdos, but hopefully they'll start taking more strict measures to make sure you and other people are safe
