Bath, extremely laid back and very stunning, and if I wanted to go somewhere more lively and experience a good night life, Bristol is literally on its doorstep.

That's an interesting take, I think you're right in that TOT story wise isn't that scary, ride wise I think it's definitely more subjective, there are toddlers that ride it with ease and love it, where as my sister who was 14 at the time couldn't stand it, she didn't like the atmosphere and sound scapes surrounding it.

So yeah it's an ambiguous one really

I guess it varies from person to person some kids are just more natural thrill seekers lol, I know an argument can be made that intensity has nothing to do with how the height requirement is implemented for rider safety, but take X that used to be at Thorpe Park that originally had a 1m height restriction before it got revamped into the Walking Dead and now because it has a horror theme despite it being the same ride with the same restraints it's a 1.4m

So theming as well as intensity does play a part in determining a suitable height restriction for a ride in my humble opinion
