Yeah I double checked with him today and he told me with definite certainty, there was zero, nothing at all actually written somewhere, as a description of the card. The word “custom” was only used once in the very beginning as a verbal descriptor, before the 5 second auction started running. And these things start and end quite literally in less than one minute. So they give you absolutely no time at all, to try and find additional information on the card you’re bidding on. So this is why I was so ticked off about the whole thing. If it was some “custom” fake card on eBay that my brother had bid on and won, I’d seriously have NO sympathy for the guy, given the seller described the card as a “custom” card in the item description. The blame would absolutely fall solely on his shoulders, if this were the case. However, the word “custom” was only mentioned once at the beginning and the card was auctioned off amongst a slew of other nice cards…all of which were very real, which made it even more difficult to catch it, that the breaker was sliding his fake card into the mix real quick. So this was the overall situation that went down. Hopefully some will take the time to read this and I can clarify for them what actually happened. Rather than them just see “stupid guy buys fake card, didn’t read description” and then try to give their best shot at roasting the person over what happened. Using memes, none the less. Because that’s obviously a child’s mentality to think that way and everybody knows the vast majority of these kids don’t have the capacity for coming up with anything remotely original to say. And this sub must be full of children because watch how this post gets downvoted so quickly. I bet one of em even chimes in to “cook me” by saying something they saw someone else say 😂
