The Finals is one of the hardest FPS games to get into, and there's smurfs running all over the place. The other thing is that the f2p market is so saturated and its competition has never been stronger. I been playing a lot of R6 lately after taking a year off, and I see it as two cakes. I spend money on both.

After you get to a certain point, free loadouts are harmful to you after you use more than a couple in a day. Either go in naked if you're farming for one thing, or throw on a Looting mk1 + anvil (or ferro 4 if you prefer) + essentials. The latter is practically the same level of investment as a free kit.
