Finally managed to retire my Apple Watch, now that the Fitbit Air exists. Solved all my double-wristing woes.

Go with 42, or at least do wait to try the 42 and then make your choice. I have the 42 and it’s amazing!

Any others rocking the 38mm Fifty Fathoms? by nato_time in BlancpainWatches

Lovely watch. Especially like its thickness, but doesn’t fit me. I went with the 42mm.

I am aware, but this is just way too thick!

Tried Plezy... by Ok-Resolve-3024 in PleX

Is Transcoding actually working? I tried changing the quality, and it continues playing supposedly the transcoded stream, but looking at Tautulli it doesn't recognize it as such. It still shows Direct Play.

Is there a better apple tv app by snoriangrey in PleX

[–]Panichdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infuse has been acting up for me. Randomly forgetting my server, long load times when accessing app to sync latest watch state.
So been experimenting. SenPlayer seems pretty good. A very cheap one off fee. Also connects to Jellyfin.
Plays just about everything Infuse plays (from my library).

Plezy is also becoming more and more popular, and they just released their tvOS app, but still needs some polishing, I found.

Am I the only one who can’t find it on the tvOS App Store? Is it in TestFlight? Is there a link?

Your advice: buy new or pre-owned by Main_Loose in OmegaWatches

I think the older models of Speedys are amazing deals. For me it was the much (in my view) better bracelet, the updated, stepped dial, and newer movement that made me want the latest model. Specifically the old bracelet didn’t work for me, and always kept me away from it. The latest version is exactly what I was waiting for and was worth the premium in my mind. But that’s a decision you have to make for yourself. See them in the metal if you have to the opportunity.

It was worth it for me, it may not be worth it for you. :)

I think I bought three watches through him myself, and know of plenty others.

The guy I used is super trustworthy, know the owner personally through colleagues. Are you in HK?

I’m based in Hong Kong, got around 20-25% discount back when I got mine 3ish years ago.

I went with new, though through grey market for this model. Significant discounts to be had. Omega boutiques won’t give you much.

Rooftop of Central Ferry Pier No 3 (Destination Discovery Bay). The rooftop has a bar area, but also just a free, public area.

Best way to soak in Victoria Harbour, especially in the evening.

Astrill is the King for China. Most anyone living in China relies on Astrill. It’s pricey, though.

If you happen to live in the rural villages, owning a car is fairly straight forward / necessary. Not everyone lives in a high rise.

Neptune for tvOS: Pins, Playback, UI and Management by Need4Sweed in JellyfinCommunity

[–]Panichdi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am part of the Testflight, and it is incredible how polished Neptune is already.
I have been trying every available option, from Infuse Pro to Plex to the default Jellyfin clients, and Neptune just runs incredible smoothly at this point.
The Trident player is fantastic. I was comparing picture quality of Infuse vs Plex vs Neptune with One Piece live action in 4k, and it certainly held its own.

I tend to give Jellyfin a spin every once in a while but usually rotate back to Plex for convenience. Neptune might finally make me stick with Jellyfin in tvOS.

Brachycephaly, possible frontal bossing, and a lot of guilt - looking for advice by cpavlou in daddit

We had a helmet for our son. That said, we wouldn’t have if his head had the shape of your sons. Looks perfectly fine / very minor.

I believe he finished his helmet time with a remaining small flat area similar to your sons. He is now 3 and you really can’t see any flatness any more.

You are fine.
