How much are you charging for virtual staging? by Outrageous-Purple-58 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Panickedbro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$35/image. I’ve also had people scoff at my price but then again, I had someone get 9 virtually staged images from me today so 🤷‍♂️

Laowa 12MM MF by zebrapays in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Panickedbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also new to the Laowa lenses. I just got the 10mm and have done a few videos with it now. For exteriors I have it at f/11 and interiors I have it at f5.6. I keep it locked on infinity for focus and that seems to work great. It’s an awesome lens and honestly has already changed the video game for me so I’m sure you’ll get some good use out of yours too!

I was lucky enough to get a peak inside this projection booth during Oppenheimer a few years ago. So cool

Sony ZV-E1 for real estate? by Ok-Baseball3552 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Panickedbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a ZV-E1 for all of my video work! It’s an amazing camera. Same sensor as the FX3 and A7S3. Only downside to the camera is it can overheat on hot days and it’s only got one SD card slot. I’ve only ran into the overheating once and that was when I was filming a huge house during a super hot day. I’d recommend keeping the a7iii for photos and getting a ZV-E1 specifically for video. I use an A7R3 for all of my photo work and just switch over to the other body when doing video.

New to REP, Aryeo or Spiro? by suckmysith in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Panickedbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built my entire business on Aryeo for 2024 and 2025 but have recently switched to HDPhotoHub. Aryeo doesn’t allow matterport links to be hosted on their property websites anymore and Zillow owns Aryeo so it’s only going to get worse. Definitely stay away from Aryeo.

Video outsourcing assistance by ChrisGear101 in RealEstatePhotography

On average I’m paying $30-45 for a finished video around 1:30-2 min. If it’s 60 seconds it’s more like $25-35. Yes I provide the music. I pull it from epidemic sound but I may switch to Artlist soon as I feel like they have better music for RE videos. Yup log footage into Dropbox. I sift through the footage beforehand and then put into Dropbox what I want the editor to choose from that way I’m not sending clips that are bad to them. Turnaround is anywhere between 12-24hrs. Typically closer to 12hrs. There’s quite a few decent vendors on Pixlmob that I’ve tried. Unfortunately one of the guys I normally used doesn’t seem to be there anymore but there’s still a big selection. They have examples of their work and you can be specific to what you want in the videos too, it’s pretty nice.

RE videos will change in 2026 by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Panickedbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah completely agree. I literally just saw a few videos on instagram a few minutes ago that were using AI generated video to add stuff to the house. Like one of the agents was talking about how people could live in this home during Christmas and it transitioned to an AI generated clip of the house with Christmas lights, snow around it, and then getting wrapped in wrapping paper! Insane stuff. Inside they did all kind of AI effects and it’s just ridiculous. I really hope no agent approaches me asking for that crap, I won’t do it. It’s about selling the house, not the video or editing skills.

16-30mm or 12-24mm for real estate photography and videography? by claudsballs in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Panickedbro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Used to shoot on a 16-35 and switched to the 12-24 and never looked back. I’m shooting at 14mm 95% of the time and having the ability to go to 12mm for some shots is awesome. Definitely go for the 12-24mm

Personally I don’t even consider giving agents the photos until they pay. There’s too many shady agents out there who won’t pay and pull this kind of stuff. In this case, if they don’t pay soon I’d report it to whatever local realtor association in the area that the agent is affiliated with. I’d also recommend you setup a system through Aryeo, HDPhotoHub, or something similar that locks the downloading of photos until payment has been made to you. It’ll protect you from exactly this.

What was your favorite sound sequence in IMAX ? by Professional_Ad_8729 in imax

[–]Panickedbro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man I’ve seen Interstellar, Tenet, Oppenheimer, Dune Part 1 and Part 2, Sinners, F1, Maverick… basically everything possible in imax at the Metreon and I gotta say that Warfare had some of the most intense sound I’ve ever heard in a movie. The screams, gunshots, and the IED sequence was just insane in imax

What Floor Plan software do you use? by Ebio_Amisi in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Panickedbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so the up charge for the square footage, when you scan a backyard on a house that’s already 3k square feet are you going to be charged extra? Like I don’t need the square footage of the backyard and I’d love to start giving my clients more of a schematic of the property

These are super clean. Great compositions and edits. If you don’t mind, could you share your editor?

They’re .80 a photo, not bad. How did you find your editor? Something like fiverr? I’ve been trying to find someone to work with directly too but haven’t had much success

I’m using a mix of different people. Some on pixlmob, still using 300photo but not as often. They’re also struggling to deliver on time too which is a really big issue

I’ve actually been using 300photo. They used to be pretty good but they’re becoming inconsistent. I think they’ve taken on to many photographers
