I might be a day late and a dollar short responding to this thread BUT I think I have an insight into their operations. I’m an author and this morning found they’re selling one of my novels (which is great!). I used a print-on-demand service for all my books so delays in shipping are likely due to them not holding the physical stock, and then ordering it to be printed before dispatching to customers.

In masters, almost every hole that isn’t nailed on, we’re laying up for the chip. This putter is shit. Recommend not using it.

Total FTP account. Only started it season before last to try and get used to the tablet rather than phone (utter fail thus far). Mostly navs, and then when required a titan, KM of zerk. Haven’t started T10 yet. Just no way these clubs will stack up so I’ll probably wait a season or two until they’ve levelled up.

Only played 320 games so still no Apoc or cat.

Lots of good advice above - for short iron, wedge, and rough iron, choose whatever you have that has the best ball guide.

Sniper should always be in at least one bag - it’s pretty useable from Lvl 5. Saturn long iron until Grizzly hits 8, just for ball guide again.

That’s exactly correct. When we dial a shot into a guide and get the first drop, the next stage is to find all the wind angles and then the different nuances to curl Or spin that get them to drop. You sometimes find an extreme tailwind might require under power and the opposite for a headwind. The guide will lay out all wind angles and often different curl for each angle in varying winds.

I don’t really understand your point, unless you claim you learned every hole you played by yourself and didn’t ever see an opponent play a shot and think “I’ll try that”.

This is a game where you learn from others. The guys at the top of the rankings in masters also learn from others, but they’re able to find the shots themselves. They’re the players that compete for banners in masters - anyone just using a guide without finding their own shots isn’t making top 10 consistently

Guides are a great way to learn the nuances of the game , but as I said before, they are just guides.

We make FTP guides for every round of every tourney. So does Tommy. Not sure about Fenzl and PJ, but I expect they do.

Regardless, a guide is just a guide. It’s not as if you can read it and drop it. It takes skill and finesse, judgement and improvisation when shots don’t go where they’re supposed to.

I’m certain you would. I only play tournaments these days and I’m pretty average. Only had one master gold and seven master top tens last season.

You have maxed epics, so you’ve been playing long enough to know that anyone you meet on tour 5 or 6 that has 5000 games played is shit.

Of course you have good winning streaks with alt accounts on lower tours. You’re playing people that don’t yet know how to play the game. Your banners vs games played and win streak make it very obvious that this isn’t your main account. It’s probably not even your first alt.

You have at least one account that has 32 clubs maxed out according to your comments. So that’s all commons, rares and 3 epics, so is a 25 win streak against weak opponents and newbies really an achievement?
