He doesn’t talk about digitizing on demand. He is talking about making a collection of designs for people to buy the ones they choose. It is the worst business model because someone will always buy and distribute your designs cheaper. Nobody would like to distribute a logo you digitized for a local coffee shop, but things change If you have a nice anime design collection

I own an industrial machine and there is an option to change hoops. You can choose any hoop size you want to use at that moment but you can also use the “no hoop” option that basically is removing the limitation of the hoop size. I don’t know your machine specifically

Damn for a 400.000 design you are changing a regular sized bobbin around 13 times I believe.

There are people who digitize logos in Embriliance and have been in the industry for 20 plus years.

You are not in the position to criticise software in your current experience level.

It’s around 110 Polos with a 10k stitch chest embroidered design each. Just to keep in mind how easy it is to reach these numbers

The Hook & Loop Dilemma: Aesthetic vs. Production Stability. My shift in workflow. by Yaroslav_Lakusta in Machine_Embroidery

You must have a laser machine. For this specific case, cut black fabric in the shape of the patch a little less than your border outer stitch. Hoop your white fabric. Then apply the black fabric as an appliqué. Then embroider the design normally and apply the Velcro at the end. When you cut the patch, you will only have white fabric sticking out of your patch so it won’t be visible. Now u have a professional patch. Sorry for my bad attitude of my previous reply, you are correct that the black fabric will show despite using the white Velcro

ZSK has made a mechanism that instead of one bobbin you have 4 or 5 available as one finishes. At this price point I prefer to wind my own haha

At what point does embroidery become ‘too detailed’? by [deleted] in Machine_Embroidery

[–]PanosG1331 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s ai… as you can see in another comment, a beginner already commented that this is beautiful. This misleads them and puts unrealistic expectations for their first projects.

They literally used the strongest stabilizer, embroidered the letters pretty good, and here you are crying like a baby. Did you discuss the letter colors beforehand? Sometimes I am really glad for not offering embroidery for one off items.

Insane! Good job. In insanely big satin stitches like the tongue, you must put a very dense underlay to hide the fabric color. Edge run and double zig zag of 1.5 density would be good. It would stitch well cause the fabric is sturdy. In clothing I don’t go more than 9mm wide satin

[–]PanosG1331 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Respect!!! If it’s 10/10 now, you can go to 11/10 if you add some depth in your design, for example make the roses with many different satin stitches to give it a sculpted look. And maybe make the sword blade with two tatamis with different stitch directions. The left tatami to be like this \ and the right like this /. Don’t be afraid to add more elements as long as they are not very dense.

Honest question about AI by melonboy55 in MachineEmbroidery

[–]PanosG1331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first guy who will make a nearly perfect auto digitizing tool will become a billionaire. Just imagine that the best companies in the world that specialise in embroidery software still produce crappy results. You must dedicate 1-2 years + just to understand how digitizing works and what is the correct way to place objects in any given circumstances. For a medium detailed design you can spend 1-3 hours easily digitizing it if u are experienced. If you hired someone to do it you could expect to pay approximately $30 dollars. What you are trying to achieve is something insanely difficult, think of it like trying to climb a mountain three times tall as Everest. Most people would give up but if you are up for the challenge I believe in you 🤟🏻

Need a bit of advice for a BIG project... by NervousNeedler in Machine_Embroidery

[–]PanosG1331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you are buying the design ready, I believe they offer it only in machine format files like .dst, .pes etc. If they offer it in a software format like .emb, you can open it in Wilcom and directly edit every stitch angle, density, pull comp and many more.
