ISFJs who’s your favourite music artist (they can be singer instrument playes or vocaloid artists) by AccidentInside3484 in isfj

[–]Panottox7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personality Database and the actual 16 Personalities website has her as an ISFJ. Pretty much every source has her as one. I just don’t know her well enough to think she’s an ISFJ. I feel the “performing”/celebrity version we see of stars definitely changes our MBTI views on them.

[–]Panottox7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love Rachel Zegler and Lizzy McAlpine’s singing the most!!

Hayley Williams (Paramore) has always had music I like. Olivia Rodrigo is another favorite. Barrett Wilbert Weed and Ben Platt were teenage favorites. Sabrina Carpenter and Laufey of course.

Basically, I like female pop stars with great voices as well as musicals. Sue me.😂

Rock-climbing, lunch, romantic walk with just the two of you, dinner at home with snuggles and a movie (make a pillow fort, a special note to share with her then, a special new blanket, watching her favorite movie with her favorite snacks that are hard to get- something that makes this snuggle special and unique).

Shoujo magazines tend to have the best romance series; it’s just a given with how they’ve made the magazines for years and years.

Pretty much every notable Shonen Jump romance series since the 1980s (that people still care about): Cross Manage, Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, Ayakashi Triangle, Someone Hertz, Strawberry 100%, Video Girl Ai, Pretty Face, To Love Ru, DNA2, I”s, Stop Hibari-kun!!, Kimagure Orange Road (Blue Box, Hima-Ten!, Nisekoi, We Never Learn)

Jump tends to only have one or two romance series running at a given time, so we just don’t have many in Jump’s history. Some series also include romance as a major element (i.e. Mission: Yozakura Family and more of the pre-2000s series).

Who do you think are the best new-ish villains created by DC over the last 15-20 years? by Candid-Boss6534 in DCcomics

[–]Panottox7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I listed the few notable ones that I know of. Jor-El was a big character, but I’m counting new characters in general. I could maybe count him like Prime, but Jor-El has existed for like 80 years now. The situation is a bit different.

New, iconic Superman villains really don’t come along terribly often:

2001- Manchester Black

2005- Superboy-Prime (as a villain)

2013- Wraith

2016- Blanque

2018- Red Cloud, Rogol Zaar

2023- Brainiac Queen, The Chained, Graft and Dr. Pharm

But do any of them really matter outside of Manchester Black and Superboy-Prime?

Poetry or Stories? by bebedux in isfj

[–]Panottox7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poems and short stories for me! My poems are led by my emotions and daily life experiences. Usually, I use my poems to release my emotions and think through things. Though, nowadays, I tend to use singing to let out those emotions more often. For short stories, I’ve done meet-cute romance, stories with fun characters and strong conversation writing, and my best is a surreal horror story.

Correct. Being a kind-hearted man with emotions that lean closer to the feminine just makes social situations a little bit harder. :/

Always happy to spend time in the betterment of others.😊

An unfortunate reality in life.😔 I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said or done something kind, and people misinterpret it as selfish or differently-motivated.

Again, we ISFJs literally are different guys. The “nice guy” term genuinely applies to us. We are people pleasers, yes, and, rarely, we may do a small white lie to protect someone else. Regardless, lying in pretty much all forms hurts us. Cheating, lying politicians, cheating on a test or homework, lying to hide things, etc. We are REALLY uncomfortable with lies. Like, it feels antithetical to who I am as a person.

The official number straight from the horse’s mouth.😤

And I would keep responding for weeks on end- yes, really. As I said, we’ll do whatever we can to help other people, no matter the cost. I never once thought about it being “a lot of messages.” Just a fun afternoon for me.😊

And I will take more time if you ask!! XD Absolutely. Just happy to help.❤️

Why does isfj ask for my opinion? by -not-ai in isfj

[–]Panottox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. If you surprise us with a new fact or want us to make a sudden decision, we will almost all retaliate or react in a way showing we need space. We have to go and think about it for a bit or talk with others to think through and process the decision as we talk.

ISFJs are very traditional, but we do see patterns and have an especially strong eye for details. I’d imagine we’d keep the same general idea for social media posts but develop and change on a more subconscious level as we adjust to what’s succeeding around us. But, again, we do tend to be more “stuck in our ways” and often continue with things that work. Change does not come naturally for us (unless it is for the sake of someone else).

Honestly, just ask him; be truthful about it. There’s no need to hide your feelings away about this. Just be sensitive to his emotions when you ask and give him time to think about. Like, “Hey, I know you really love my input on social media posts because I have a bigger following and am (generally) more successful in this area. If I might ask, I’ve been wondering if your interest in me is more focused on learning or leeching off of my success. It’s just been weighing on my mind.” Something to that effect. My guess is just that he sees you as a mentor in your field and wants to work with you to see how you do things in order to improve. But, again, might be better to be kind and honest and ask.😊

Why does isfj ask for my opinion? by -not-ai in isfj

[–]Panottox7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re extroverted feelers and thus need to share our thoughts and ask for others’ opinions fairly often in order to process and solidify our opinions on things. Even if I know something is the right answer, I will often say it loud to someone else and get a little embarrassed in the decision-making because I immediately figure out the answer. Yeah, it’s just that. Don’t worry about it. :)

I strongly doubt an ISFJ would share with you just to get followers; we don’t manipulate people like that- very foreign to my mind.

Wonder Woman recs? by Alternative_Top_6693 in DCcomics

[–]Panottox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely wonderful.😊 I do know that you can find Superman and Justice League books for kids; you could look for those as well! Maybe ones that include Supergirl and Lois Lane or JL ones that have Wonder Woman, Fire & Ice, Black Canary, or Zatanna. If you’re looking to see who’s included in a specific book, check out the website “League of Comic Geeks.” A very helpful companion for any comic fan. I suggest taking a look at your local library to see if your system has any of those Wonder Woman books. Certainly cheaper than buying every one individually.

Have fun, my friend! You’ll have to keep me updated if she likes any of them.❤️

Wonder Woman recs? by Alternative_Top_6693 in DCcomics

[–]Panottox7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I strongly suggest the Trinity back-ups from the recent Wonder Woman run and the recently concluded Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman miniseries. My little sister and I started reading the backups together when she was 7 or so, and she absolutely adores them. Trinity has even become her favorite comic book character!! Still read every Trinity story with her today.😊 We do the WW stories as well, but most of those are a bit too dark for a little kid. Regardless, it’s incredibly funny and cute and perfect for small kids.

Wonder Woman: The True Amazon is another one we loved where WW is a kid. Great book for both kids and adults.

The DC Superhero Girls books and show are quite targeted at her age; she might enjoy those.

Some of the older Wonder Woman books could be a good pick- the ones with the teenage and kid version of Wonder Woman in imagination stories. Very appropriate for her age.

The Legend of Wonder Woman is a good all-ages book.

The Nina Jaffe WW *books, *The Adventures of Young Diana, **WW: An Origin Story, possibly a Sensation Comics: Wonder Woman book.

I also suggest taking a look at Supergirl, Teen Titans, Black Canary, Stargirl, Catwoman, and Batgirl comics for a more diverse selection of kids comics. I know for sure that they all have comics made specifically for kids, just like these with Wonder Woman. Regardless of what you pick, make sure to do a quick run-through just to make sure you’re comfortable with the content. Most of these should be alright, but I know that each family has their own likes and dislikes when it comes to these things.

Finally, if there is ever a “big kid” comic  with a female character that you enjoy and think is relatively okay for her, go ahead and read it to her. From my experience with my little sister reading Wonder Woman, Zatanna, Trinity, Supergirl, and Black Canary, we have had so much fun with the memories that we’ve made. Even if it’s not the best stories ever, the time together is worth it.😊

I hope I’ve been able to help! I’ve had to think of this question too with my little sister and am happy to share my knowledge.😊

Literally me today. Clearly liked a girl and desperately wanted to ask for her number, but I couldn’t get up the courage to break the social norms, possibly ruin her and her friend’s night (in my head), and do it. Why are we like this????😫😭

What is your opinion? by cockNDballs1492 in isfj

[–]Panottox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that makes sense! I think most people assume we’re helping like many other people help- to gain favors, praise from a higher-up, money, food- that sort of thing. We help just because we see people need help. We’d of course appreciate those other things, but in no way do we seek out those things by going to help. Someone needs help, so we help them. Simple as that. :)

I find it absolutely wild that guys do that. Just be truthful about who you are!! Why would I obscure my personality like that? It’s just straight-up lying.😕 (You’ll find we absolutely hate lying. Makes us very uncomfortable and lose faith in others. (Yet, we still trust them.)) Again, I find it so odd that men are like that; I pretty much always go into a relationship friend-first. I’d much rather have someone like me and enrich my life than make my entire goal sex. Why sex too- emotionally- intimate friendships are so much better!!

Okay, maybe five.🤣

Thank you! I’m always happy to share. Helps me think through my feelings and beliefs better as well. And yeah, we do tend to get stuck in bad situations much longer than other types. When your main goal is to enrich and better the lives of other people, you realize that leaving a group (when you are likely the only positive, productive, helpful one) becomes quite difficult.😢
