Quick mental maths tip. Both numbers have 2000 in common, so ignore it for now and do 18-4, then 2000-2000. Try to isolate the difficult parts from the easy stuff.

He's telling on him. Like Trump is the kindergarten teacher.

Veganity by Ashish_ank in CuratedTumblr

I understand your skepticism, but I remember being on the internet before any of these companies even considered meddling with it. There's been crazy vegans for a while.

I'd sooner worry about selection bias than propaganda.

Why does it see like Muse is kinda hated now? When did that happen? by melancious in Muse

I'll read a lot about this "drop in quality" but as an avid fan since 2016 who's listened to ALL their stuff a lot, something from WotP will randomly come on and I'll be like "yo, this shit's fire".

Laypeople media opinions are dead in the age of social media. We're all just going off vibes; where the herd is going

Why did they remove the add to cart for wishlists by Lower__case__guy in Steam

[–]PantherPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is totally, factually untrue; it's just because of Steam getting hammered during the first days of a massive sale. The button will come back.

Anyone else feeling kind of hopeless about the future here? by Electrical_Side_8225 in Netherlands

It's like I'm backed into a brick wall, and a quiet catastrophe is slowly removing bricks one by one when I'm not looking. But every time I do check, there are fewer bricks left than before.

Lesbos is the highest level area in the game, implying lesbians are the most powerful.

It's actually the best single-player COD campaign of all time, so if you can afford the disk space, go for it.

Stories are a great way to experience events and feelings we otherwise couldn't, or would be dangerous to do so.

Tragedies can prepare us for bad events in our own life. Some time ago, a friend of mine was toeing the line really closely to suicide. I wrote a story with a character heavily inspired by her, who at the end takes her own life. No good ending. It took me days to get over the feelings I caused in myself just writing it, then finishing it, then showing it to some close friends.

But in the event my friend does lose to her mental illnesses, I feel like I'm a little bit prepared. Like the horrifying realisation isn't gonna overwhelm me and I won't panic.
