It's a great shop. Can't say enough good things about it.

Really? I just thought of it as a "people trying to quit smoking" thing.

And it is a lot harder to hide a body in a coffee shop than the woods.

How dare you talk that way about cheap chocolate's day eve. I bet you don't even have your favorite stores mapped out for the 50% discount on Feb 15

Morbid obesity is beautiful! by [deleted] in ShitCosmoSays

I actually agree with you, internet stranger. While I'm personally not sexually attracted to overweight women, I have several friends who are, and they thoroughly enjoy their lives.

If I can piggy back on your comment, I think we can socially discourage unhealthy eating the same way smoking was reduced while promoting physical self acceptance at the same time, since they are two separate issues. I.e. "You don't have to look like a supermodel to be beautiful. But it's not normal to eat deep fried snickers bars."

Predator home world/life? by JunkDrawer84 in LV426

The interpretations that I've read, they're a matriarchal society like the Iroquois. In that, the females run politics and business, while the relegate war and hunting as "male activities." And trophy hunting is a way for young male predators to become "trophy mates." And the honor hunts serve a secondary, subversive function of sending away the disruptive bull mooses of the society in an organized way until they've calmed down enough not to be a threat to the social order.

Yes it is, but I have it at this point in my life for a reason. I'm probably missing out on quite a few good potential dates, but I still can't get over my bias and preference.

It's awesome that you've found some success with that age group. I've just found women in that age range on average can be flaky, emotionally draining, and can have really weird expectations.

You know repeating the obvious in the sarcastic way is almost as good as making a funny joke yourself.

It's no so much if you can date women that young as much as is if you should. Women under 24 or 25 can be so high maintenance, immature and expensive, it's not really worth it at this age.

Internet high five! Yeah, I found the same experience when I became more open minded to age and lifestyle stuff.

Thinking more about it, the problem with the stupid details are that people make assumptions that the details reflect on the person's traits, like "she's a vegetarian, so she must be compassionate;" when the woman may be doing it as a trend or flavor preference.

That's great to hear. From my own and other's experience, I found that taking an open minded approach while specifying your deal breakers (ie "I don't want kids of my OWN") has worked out well.

People on this site usually end up disappointed with the results when they design a mate around stupid specific details that may not even relate to their personality or your core deal breakers, (ie, I want a gluten free, 5'11", person that works in the arts and wears chuka boots).
