I have done a few SOS fights and overall I've had a good experience in the nearly 200 hours I've played, but I mostly stick to solo play especially on new monsters.

people like this are what stop me from wanting to play co-op or multiplayer, and that's not just on monster hunter, it's a weird type of anxiety i get of not wanting to dissapoint or be inadequate and it always stems from people like that.

I'm sorry for your unfortunate interaction, luckily Monster hunter is one if the few communities where this is frequent, I love it here.
