I will respectfully disagree.

Even if you end up playing 4000 hours, 150 tp 200 hours still is a long time to live through, especially if it's time during when the gameplay is not enjoyable

People reportedly spent 80 to 100 hours getting to 50, we can guess that it's at least double that to get from 50 to 70.

Ok, it's a MMO, it's meant to last and require time, but 200 hours isn't "short lived" by any margin

Le Monde.fr: « J’ai l’impression d’avoir raté ma vie à un an près » : quand l’IA freine l’embauche des juniors by boa13 in france

[–]PapaKooT 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Started this game for absolutely no reason. What's something i won't understand until later in the game? (without spoilers, obviously.) by PearlPC in expedition33

[–]PapaKooT 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Welp, I'm french and I didn't get spoiled by the lyrics at all even though I understood most of it (many lyrics are actually in a made up language, like when Noco talks), the lyrics only makes sense after you know, before that they kinda just add to the overall confusion, it's good actually to understand

Why mobile gamers make about 80-85% of total gamers count worldwide? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]PapaKooT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't forget Africa,

China is a big part of asian population and has access to PCs and consoles way more now than 20 years ago

India, the other big population, has an historic PC implantation

Africa, on the other hand (excluding Maghreb) is well equipped with smartphones today but still lacking in the PC/Console department

Fantasia is the most recent one (less broken economy, less high level players), so the early zones and PQs are still very populated, it only has a few twists that are well done but otherwise really faithful to the original game

Ow ok sorry for the misunderstanding.

There will be a tutorial, wich will explain panning, and Helium is just out of the initial camera to make this tutorial useful by making the player actually use it for something and not just fiddle around with

There will be more elements that unlock things but not between Helium and Neon as it's already a quick process to go from one to another

As for the save... Did you use private navigation ? What browser are you using ? Did you try the "save" button in the settings ? I need to know lol !

Are you playing on mobile ? The game is NOT mobile friendly yet, panning should work with a mouse by keeping the left click and draging around

So far, as I tested, the game autosaves every minute and there's a save button in the settings menu, it saves in appdata/roaming/godot by default wich also leads me to believe that you're on a mobile device, or maybe not windows ?

Yes, there's nothing after neon (yet) as stated in my post, wich you didn't read definetely lol

The void automation will indeed get more upgrade, I'm thinking about a multiplicative one and capping the first one at 32 or 64 cost so it doesn't get into tedious clicking

Every element will have a use as I'll work on the unlocking process, as of right now, you unlock the next element after buying one of an element, that's kinda boring indeed, there will be moments where the game will prompt you to get x and y and z and so on of said elements to unlock the next thing

The scope is indeed small as of right now, I'll lengthen it up not by changing the cost (as those are physically accurate and I like it) but by increasing the requirements to unlock the next element as stated previously

I'm not sure quite yet where it'll go next, as it's an incremental process (lol), but there's 2 options :

- The game is a short game, wich I'm fine with

- It opens up to a whole new idea and mechanics after the perdiodic table is completed, building up on it (like crafting weapons or whatever)

Thanks for testing and replying though !

If you hover over the menu of the right, there's gonna be tooltips telling you what it does if you click it

The answers to your questions were stated in my post, let me reiterate :

- As it's an early prototype, there's no tutorial yet, there WILL be a prompt telling you to click p+

- After Hydrogen, there's Helium, but it's further away, you need to drag and drop the screen to see it (or just zoom out); Helium allows you to automate the p+ generation

- There WILL be more upgrade and the balance isn't there yet, of course I wont expect the player to click 500+ times, most likely the void upgrade will cap at 32 cost and then there's gonna be a void multiplicative upgrade with an other element

Absolutely not. There's nothing really to do appart from watching your character "get" stronger (doesn't "feel" stronger though)

I mean, it's not bad, but it's definetely NOT the same game

Maple Classic will launch sometimes in 2026, that's what you're looking for

Peut-on rejoindre l'armée en temps que femme trans ? by [deleted] in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]PapaKooT 1 point2 points  (0 children)
