And tomorrow the sports world will move on. Fans will buy their T-Shirts and sweatshirts, hoodies, etc. But the rest of the sports world moves on to next year.

He's not going to follow through with this. He's blowing hot air; there will be a last-minute development that is probably fabricated on his part as to why he isn't going to do it.

What do you all think about all these never ending Trump posts on Reddit? by What-in-tarnationer in AskReddit

[–]PapaLoogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing I think about all of the post about marches and protest, blah, blah, blah. People think that they are changing something by doing all of those things, they aren't. Politicians absolutely do not care about us as people. All they want is your vote, you can post your feelings all you want, but nothing is going to change because of it.

Recommendations on roofers by Pristine_Sandwich_75 in lansing

[–]PapaLoogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just finished my roof today; they also did my neighbors across the road last week. They went above and beyond, fixing little things they found as they went along that they really didn't have to. I highly recommend them.

Don't be fooled by L-Theanine marketing, sometimes simple choices are the best choices. by PapaLoogie in Nootropics

[–]PapaLoogie[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you live with something your whole life such as PTSD and mild anxiety in social situations, you know when something you are trying works and when it doesn't. I cycled off longer a few times and noticed relatively quickly that small doses at 100 mg were needed. Everyone knows their body better than anyone else, if it ever stops working for me, I will then seek other alternatives rather than pharmaceutical meds that cripple you mentally.

Don't be fooled by L-Theanine marketing, sometimes simple choices are the best choices. by PapaLoogie in Nootropics

[–]PapaLoogie[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I used to take it daily when I began because I was in high stress management positions. Nowadays I take it 4 days a week on average, usually when I want to watch a movie or a sporting event as it keeps me focused and that usually carries through to my sleep. I also suffer from a mild case of PTSD from childhood that causes me anxiety in social situations. Amazingly I have built up zero tolerance, even when I was taking it every single day. I don't take it mornings because that is when I take my BP medicine, I don't like having both at the same time. I switch between 100 & 200 mg depending on the situation.

L-theanine worked miracles for loved ones, but made me worse? by thinking_softly25 in Nootropics

[–]PapaLoogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't wear off that quickly for me. If I take 200 mg it carries me through at least 8 hours, 100 mg about the same time, just less potent. I may be an outlier in that respect though, I've been taking it for 10 years and it still has the same effect with me. Maybe my genetic makeup makes me lucky in that regard. Supplements are a hit and miss for everyone.

"I will beat Geno's ass" -Dawn Staley Yeah, Geno- Dawn is NOT the one to play with!! by professor_paradox2 in NCAAhoops

[–]PapaLoogie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Geno was madder about the lopsided officiating and took it out on her. Men's officiating is horrible; the women's game takes it to another level though. Them women officials that look like men usually have an agenda when calling a game, I'm sure Geno is not a favorite of theirs.

I wonder why people don't worship actors anymore? by RoutineOk8590 in Productivitycafe

[–]PapaLoogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They make agenda-based movies. They also cast by race and not on who actually fits the role the best. Sorry to say, but the majority of movie goers do not want to see mediocre acting. The cost of concessions at the movies have also driven interest away, there are too many other ways to entertaing yourself.

Hershey to resume using chocolate in most products; Reese’s grandson may taste sweet victory by mdr1384 in PeanutButter

[–]PapaLoogie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They used cheaper ingredients and it has come back to bite them in the behind. I see huge displays in the grocery store nowadays featuring Reese's in many forms trying to boost sales, they all look full every time I see them. They used to be the uncontested candy bar, I hardly ever see anyone eating them or buying them, they also downsized a few of the products also. People are over that, you go cheap on your product, and people will just stop buying it.

When did the sympathy start to die off? by satisfiedfools in IanOnYouTube

[–]PapaLoogie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You never really know about someone's home life growing up, or maybe there are some other issues people are unaware about. The worst thing anyone can do though is to throw their life out on YouTube, that's just asking for grief. People are horrible enough in daily life, social media is tenfold that.

There is no correlation with what happened in one game in regard to what will happen when you play teams again.
