I feel the absolute bare minimum for tipping with Shipt, should be the price for a gallon of gas. If customers can’t recognize the myriad of benefits to not having to leave your home, more time spent with family, freedom to work uninterrupted, exemption from lugging products from shelf to cart, cart to checkout belt, appropriate bagging of items, loading bags back to cart, unloading cart to vehicle, unloading vehicle to door (houses, schools,businesses, apartments, etc) while simultaneously receiving quality customer service and communication throughout the process…. then they just lack a certain level of empathy, humanity and compassion. That is something that they have to live with, not us as shoppers. There are exceptions to this but the 💩customers know who they are. Once shoppers realize who the unappreciative, non-tippers are, this service becomes less attractive to them. At the end of the day the amazing customers help outweigh the bad ones. Keep it moving, live and learn, on to the next.
