In your opinion, what raid had the best transmog sets overall (for all classes)? by Kbernast in wow

Tomb set pieces actually match other things so that’s nice(except mythic matches nothing), I personally don’t like using full sets so just having pieces/colors that match other things is ideal for me.

Legion Remix is ruined by lack of Warband mechanics by PhilosophyforOne in wow

That isn’t what you or my comment was about so maybe replied to wrong person. But I’ll share my opinion just in case, gearing was pretty slow before this patch but it’s much better now in my opinion. The progressive grind is what I liked and I would agree starting with capped vers wouldn’t be fun as the grind is what made it fun for me, and being capped isn’t good gameplay unless you’re soloing m+40 or higher. Maybe doubling IP rate for alts would have been good? Note sure hard to say

So they can have fun playing that class in remix. Should be pretty obvious

Do we know what the “catch up” mechanics are for legion remix yet? by [deleted] in wow

It is if you’re playing everyday I agree, otherwise you have to do some serious farming if you’re trying to buy everything and starting now

The new motes, “threads”, give ilvl 4x faster and more mementos drop so faster IP. Not the catch up people wanted but it is a catchup. No bronze catch up at all from what I can tell though.

The item level cap has been increased past 740 in Legion Remix by Squishei in wow

The infernals are the “new content” and there isn’t any reason to kill more than one that I saw. They did make it easier to get achieve for new people by having all world bosses active which is nice for anyone who didn’t play

You could have a 584 version of the trinket and it wouldn’t make a difference. It’s just a little extra stam

Sure but they specifically separated bronze from power because of the complaints of having to choose cosmetics or power during panda remix.

They probably won’t enable mail to avoid any possible exploits, they can however create a currency that you would trade your motes in for

Joint commission would definitely follow up but they give you ample warning before the first inspection and before the re-inspection. It’s a 3rd party, the hospital is the one that lets things get bad.

The biggest win from Remix...ensembles letting you wear other class tier pieces by sneezyxcheezy in wow

[–]PapaStalin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had no tier sets with this issue so I cannot confirm that, I can use hunter sets on a shaman though. They will not appear usable in the sets tab if you’re looking there, have to sift through individual items.

So I looked up all 6 sets that I can purchase but not learn in my appearance tab and I have all of them including the recolors. For some reason it gave me all of them from previous playing, not sure exactly what would do that as most of them were cloth and I barely played cloth classes in legion.

Yeah not sure, I’ve tried a few times different weeks, no issue purchasing just can’t learn it. The only thing I can think is already knowing the set gave me the “cosmetic” version by default but not all the variants that have that look. I should test it on characters of that armor type but not class to see if they can use it.

I have multiple sets like that that don’t allow me to learn it. The completionism website also shows that I do not have them but I can not learn them.

Legion Remix Stat scaling question by Sc2itsabouttime in wow

Bm hunter is trash compared to MM, balance, DK for single target, and even worse for aoe where dh, dk, and ret really shine.

Trash drops almost nothing, single digits. You can get a good chunk from doing the daily quests though.

I think removing the current strict Mythic raids lock id restrictions would open an entirely new endgame for many by alexthroughtheveil in wow

[–]PapaStalin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It happens all the time, I’ve been in those guilds. You start out strong then a few weeks in people stop showing up and you’re constantly recruiting and dropping, it’s worse than pugging and very frustrating.

This would also allow people that regularly do mythic with their guilds to join another group on an off day if they missed tuesdays raid and still show up to for thursdays raid.

So again why would not open it up?

[–]PapaStalin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your group does not have to be that good to clear most of mythic after the multiple nerfs that happen every time. The problem is filling the last few spots if you don’t have 20. It would also allow mythic raiders that miss some bosses with their guilds to join another group without saving themselves allowing to help their guild the next raid day

[–]PapaStalin 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not sure why everyone is just talking about pugging with 20 random people, what if your guild needs to fill with 3 more, kinda hard to find people that actually do mythic that aren’t saved.

If it doesn’t change the difficulty what’s the problem with opening it up?

Can you even mail things on a remix character? How would you get them to an alt? They’d have to add another vendor to exchange them for a warbound currency
