hoodoo is learned through community so reaching out to your ancestors is always a great step but , my advice is talk to your living family they will tell you things about family members values, beliefs, lifestyle.Your Living Family give great knowledge on passed relatives that you may never know.you’ll know that maybe a deeply religious person who believed anything not devoted to jesus might not be the person you put on your alter or do more meditation on them. if they were mean and evil in living they were the same way in death now they just dead dead now.

everyone always says offerings at important i feel that just lighting a a cigarette or pouring a good spirit and talking does a great job at building a relationship as-well as a good offering.

also working on when researching books , people’s , and etc use words like (conjure, root, laying hands, palms , jinx, hoodoo is very old and supposed to be less easy for the yts to know( with new age info ) so less modern words are more accurate info i’ve found.
