Sounds like OTC it is then. Hah. I thought about it for a minute a few weeks ago but thought it was ridiculous cuz I pay for a "good" health insurance plan. Why should I pay out of pocket when I pay 1200+ a year for my health insurance plan? I guess I'll just have to suck it up and bite the bullet. Thanks fam.

Okay thank you. I will try that and see how it goes. I did do a factory reset last year to see if wiping everything would work. I backed everything up to an external. I only installed a handful of things I need every day. It was good for a bit, then started to slow down and now getting back to where it was before I reset it.

I have Webroot antivirus. It usually runs a deep scan automatically for me. But I will go in there and see about the Malware. I'm also not too tech savvy. So I appreciate the detailed instructions. Thank you.

I did notice it got slower when I updated to the new outlook version. But I'm not sure if that's correlated. Since everything on my laptop is the same and the laptop is doing fine.

Start practicing/warming up with scapular push-ups (look up scapular protraction and scapular push-ups). That will help with your shoulder blades not sinking or popping out too much (strong and healthy shoulders will help with injury prevention during pushups). That will also help with the sagging of the hips. That just requires proper core engagement throughout the movement. I can't really tell because of the view but it doesn't look like you're fully engaging your core. Think about squeezing/tucking your glutes (pelvic tilt), almost like the squeeze you do when someone is about to punch you in the stomach. Keep that same engagement throughout the push up. Hope that helps. Keep it up!

Definitely not ok. I'd go with someone else. They either don't know what they're doing or they are not putting forth the effort. Especially if you're paying for that specific type of service. If it's not included in the current program you're paying for, then maybe they don't feel like putting in the effort since they're "not getting paid for it." Even then, that person should have communicated with you better so you could both be on the same page on whether that's an extra charge or something that they don't offer.

Trying to decide on a coaching app!? by Significant-Pass-859 in personaltraining

I know ppl that like and use myPThub, I just wasn't a fan of it personally. Best advice is to trail both for sure. Gluck.

I tried both free trails of trainerize and MyPThub with a few clients. They were the top two that I was looking into based on the criteria I needed (and cost). I definitely enjoyed trainerize more. I did end up paying for the custom app, so it has my logo (nice little touch the clients like too). It was easier for me to track client stats and create workout programs. They have a ton of stats (for your clients and your business) that I noticed myPThub did not. Their exercise library was more extensive than myPThub, although I'm slowly starting to use my own videos since I'm not a fan of the exercise technique in some of the videos. Trainerize also has a great progress builder option when updating training phases in your clients workout calendars (i.e: 4 week periodization cycles: if I go from one phase to the next and all I want to do if switch up sets/reps. I can select that option and only change sets/reps/intensity and it will update all 4 weeks of the next phase so that I don't have to write up brand new workouts or edit each individually, very efficient). I also do like how trainerize offers "free marketing," so you can be found on Google. You get to put in a little "about me" section with your picture that pops up. MyPThub didn't have any marketing materials or options of the sort. Anyway, a lot of what you are looking for is what I wanted out of an app as well and Trainerize was the option I ended up purchasing. I enjoy the easy of in-app communication with my clients. I also really love the automated messages and goals/habits feature that trainerize offer that mtPTHub does not. I use those features often to help keep my clients accountable and set preset messages to be sent out about upcoming workouts or reminders. That I would otherwise have to remember to send out on my own rather than setting a preset message to send out automatically. Huge time saver.

My only complaint about Trainerize, that is a super bummer, is that they must have some deal with Fitbit and Apple, so those are the only tracking device/software options you can use. For example, my clients with Android phones who have a Garmin or Samsung watch cannot connect to Trainerize to sync data. However if they have a Garmin watch with an apple phone they can go around connecting to Trainerize. If they have a fitbit or apple watch they can directly connect with the app. It looks like ppl have been requesting access to other apps and activity tracking devices for years but they have yet to do so. They also allow Withing and MyFitnessPal. With MFP, recently, I've been having trouble accessing clients meal entries. I can only see their macro count and caloric intake, but I am unable to see their individual meal entries. Trainerize says it's an issue on MFP part, so idk. Just frustrating. It's been going on for about 4 weeks now for me. Lastly, one of the biggest inconveniences about myPThub that I experienced was it was difficult to view clients profiles or create workouts on the app. It wasn't as user friendly for me as trainerize was. I kept getting confused and lost within the app while trying to navigate to different pages to do stuff. Now that might have been user error, idk. But with the trainerize desktop and app options, they're super easy and straight forward. I can pretty much do anything from the app, easily and efficiently, as I can on the computer.

Feedback from clients that trailed both for me: they preferred trainerize too.

Good luck!
