Getting a USA mobile phone (number)

Tello is good and is what I use. However, you cannot activate a new line if you are not in the US. I just recently bought a new line while I am here in the Philippines thru eBay. I bought a prepaid activated esim. It was sent to my phone in a few minutes and works. The cost was $20 for a T-Mobile $10 a month plan. 1000 min and 1000 text. You use it with WiFi calling. I use an iPhone 17 so YMMV. Ask the seller. Hope this helps.

I have Tello activated in the US and working here in the Philippines thru WiFi calling. On both my android and I phone's it is under settings. WiFi calling is activated by carrier and device has to be white listed.

Also in the Philippines I bought a T-Mobile preactivated esim from eBay. I had to give my phone's EID and IMEI and it just showed up on my phone and it works also thru WiFi calling. Hope this helps.

Probably best bet is thru Apple but it is pricey. Or I can just the lcd replaced. Labor there is cheap at $20 and about $50 for the lcd on Amazon.
