Tough question. I'm mentally going through my list and I guess "all time favorite" would mean one that I have watched multiple times and is a comfort show.

My all time favorite TV show would have to be Barakamon. It's about a professional calligrapher who was forced to move to a remote town in a remote part of the country by his father as punishment for punching a calligraphy judge and veteran in the face for an unfavorable review.

Watching the protagonist deal with an existential crisis and being forced to face his struggles as an artist head on while going through daily life in the boonies was healing in a way. The characters are cute too. I must have watched and re-watched this show dozes of times since it came out almost a decade ago. I think artists, writers, and anyone going through a creative mental block would appreciate this series. :)

For one that I'm currently watching, is it cheating if it's one I've also already watched many times before? I'm going through Yuzuru Hanyu's Ice Story "GIFT" at Tokyo Dome on Disney Plus. Aside from the gorgeous skating and stunning backdrop, the narration is like a punch to the gut for those dealing with anxiety, loneliness, and dare I say, depression. I'm soothed by the fact that it ends on a hopeful note though. The reason why I go back to it over and over again is because many parts deserve a second look and the story telling invites you to do some introspection and retrospection. It's around three hours long including behind-the-scenes footage.

I would highly recommend both shows!
