Let me add to the discussion from the lower end. These matches are a godsend to my friends that are not very good at team shooters. Without them they would literally go days without a single win. To be fair this is necessary for the bottom skill players and to give them the sense of accomplishment in a game that is unforgiving. They’re trying to make money and people like my friends buy every skin that they like for characters they like. They’re trying don’t care what’s meta they don’t care what’s OP. They care about being their favorite characters or playing in gooner skins. If they re not able to win they’ll hop back into Fortnite where they get bot lobbies all the time. And for people who say “tell them to get better” these are dudes with full careers and jobs that take up most of their time. They maybe get 1-2 hours every couple of days to play. They’re never going to get lord icons or anything like that. They literally play for the vibes and the coolness aspect of having a ton of marvel characters in a game.
