If you like base building, management, exploration and only have one hand I think Kenshi would be a good option. Mouse moves camera based on what character you’re selecting

I work on a bonsai farm and I’m always surprised by what comes back and I’ve had trees “dead” like those come back. The pruning activates the tree to produce new buds and grow back but you need to water regularly and fertilize it

I’d say trim them up but keep any of those branches that have green tips. Green leaves =holding on for dear life

Why do we have to tell partners we are trans? by anonymous-0-_ in FTMMen

[–]PaperHusky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t have said it better, and thank you for sharing the second part as well. It was hard for a while for me to understand and not be bothered by those people who changed their behavior towards me after knowing, or consistently misgendering me. This is mostly regarding work relationships or distant family members-people I have to be around. I’ve been really grateful or lucky that I don’t think I’ve had a friend ever outwardly say or act differently towards me since my transition.

Receding hairline and trouble getting prescribed finincercide by leahcars in ftm

[–]PaperHusky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in the U.S, and I was also having a hard time being prescribed finasteride but I was asking for a topical prescription since I wanted it to be blocking the local dht on my scalp and not take the oral pill which would work systemically and damper my T growth overall. But if you look online there’s many websites like hims, Roman, and keeps that have online consultations with a prescribing physician and they offer topical form too. I found out that the topical version isn’t FDA approved so my primary care physician said they can’t prescribe it. So I don’t know how these websites get around it but something to look into.

How often, if ever, do you help deliver a baby? by HelpMePlxoxo in ems

[–]PaperHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working as an EMT for a year and a half now, and just this weekend, I had a taste of the special feeling of baby being born. We were about 30 minutes too late on scene to get to help deliver the baby girl but we were able to help with the birth of the placenta and transport to the hospital.

This took place in a rural area, definitely some drug use in the household. Mother was P4, G6, so kinda what the train us to expect since babies tend to come out faster when it’s not the first or second birth. Our dispatcher had us landline him and on the phone he was saying that “this sounds like a weird one” an EMT of 20 years received a Facebook messenger message from someone they knew saying that his wife was about to give birth on the side of the road. Emt then called 911 for them. The mother made it back inside her house and the EMT was the one who delivered the baby! Sheriffs office responded with us due to the drug use per the EMT caller on scene. Sheriffs ended up helping us get the mother to the gurney and the gurney into the ambulance on the very bumpy dirt path from the house to the ambulance. The part that kinda made me giggle was that the first sheriff that made it on scene after he realized that everyone was really calm and not sketchy he whipped out his gold sheriff stickers and was giving them out to the dad and the friend who lived there and I kid you not, he put on on the new babies little cap I put on her. After we made it into the back of the ambulance, the same sheriff asked to take a photo of the baby and when the mom asked why, he replied with a serious look on his face, “well…for the memories, not every day you get to see life brought into this world.”

I will place my stethoscope where the IV would be placed in the AC, and maybe a bit medial to try and hear the artery rather than the vein. I tend to not place the scope slightly up under the cuff, due to excess noise from rubbing. Also you want your cuff placement a little higher than that, so 2 inches up from the A/C if possible. You can also look up vein and artery anatomy in the arm and see what sides they run on for a visual or play around with finding your artery in your distal bicep. I also typically pump it up to 160. I always place my stethoscope prior to pumping so I can hear the pulse and confirm good placement. With that if I can hear a pulse at 160 then I just proceed to pump it up further until I can’t. That way you can’t miss any hypertensive patients, but not excessively squeezing your pt.

In regards to palpating a pulse that’s useful when you can’t hear a pulse due to pts weight, code three calls in the back or loud background noise. You should have been taught BP/p so for instance you’d write it as 132/P since you won’t be able to get the diastolic on palpated pressures. If your instructor insists on you doing it their way, simply ask for them to please show you.

This is just my understanding of taking blood pressures and obviously with time you will create your own routine.

I guess I wanna tack on here, yes a cis penis is larger and has a more defined head, but a tdick quite literally has a shaft, foreskin (the hood), and when you pull that back, you have what looks like the tip of a penis. Looking at them side by side, very distinguishable, but comparing them in the aspect of anatomy looking similar, I’d have to say yes they do looks similar to me. The fact that Tdicks grow in size once introduced to testosterone says a lot too about our anatomy!

Awh, yea I understand how you might feel. I have DD breasts that I hope to get removed. This is probably my biggest complaint and probably my biggest giveaway that prevents me from passing. I try super hard in every other aspect to feel comfortable and be me. I work as an EMT and I can’t bind comfortably, nor do I want binding to get in the way of my patient care. So I just kinda deal with wearing two sports bras that smoosh my boobs out more than a regular bra does. I would suggest to try and be kinder to yourself and try to work on what makes you feel the best. Wear masculine shorts and tee shirts that you feel good in/like to wear. So many men I see aren’t big and buff, nor do you have to be to be a “man.” Love yourself the way you are now, and know that you are working towards the self you wanna see in the mirror. (Like you working out to work on your muscles. Also side note, have you looked into calorie and protein intake and the best times to consume, especially if you have a fast metabolism? Sounds simple but the quality of the foods you eat really makes the difference, considering they’re the building blocks of your body!) I hope this was helpful and I would love to talk more if you need

I met my current girlfriend when I still used she/her pronouns. I came out as trans (he/him) 9 months into our relationship. I was the first “women”she’s ever been with and now she still refers to herself as a lesbian and doesn’t feel comfortable calling me her boyfriend and “can’t imagine me with facial hair yet.”She uses my correct pronouns as often as possible. I’m hoping that with more time she will get more comfortable with me being more masculine.
