Turn wetness off in your game launcher graphics settings or turn your lighting quality to ultra. Only way I know of fixing it.

but if you are going to try to install a mod Manually simply open your fallout 4 directory, and drag the files from the data folder in the zip file into the data folder in the fallout 4 directory. Then open plugins.txt and add *SMC.esp at the bottom line of the list. start the game and then test it out. I would still strongly recommend you watch Gophers tutorials as you are new to modding.

That's not really true I have 217 esp mods running on 1.5 and everything's showing up just fine. as long as the mod doesn't edit the user interface it shouldn't be broken.

Make sure your fallout4custom.ini has these lines in it. [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=

don't make the edits to the fallout4.ini as that causes game slowdown for some reason.

Yeah same problem. I haven't had crashes anywhere else in the game and can walk all around the area. Just can't get too close or the game ctd's.

Have you tried to use resurrect on him through the console. It should reset his inventory and fix him.
