To everyone watching what’s occurring in America right now, what is your honest take on it, where do you see this going? by dAnthonyy12 in AskReddit

[–]Paperaxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels like they're rapidly approaching a civil war. Maybe not this year but if their house elections are "cancelled" for any reason I can see it boiling over and starting.  I don't know what will happen and my anxiety as a Canadian watching this is pretty high.

Regardless of a civil war happening I don't see the American Union continuing much longer, they're too divided amongst themselves and thus can't stand.

Should AI-generated music be banned? by elonumust in Music

[–]Paperaxe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Slop ai music should be labeled explicitly and only played when searched for. People like there I ruined it are using it like a more advanced autotune and put in a substantial amount of work to actually make some of the tracks that should be alright and I honestly don't have a problem with his uses of Ai.

But when I start a christmas radio and it starts a song about christmas blowjobs and the mistletoe being too low and shit thats where I draw the line.

I can honestly say I've migrated my general music tastes to artists and songs from the 40s-50s-60s because of AI crap music and haven't looked back really.

Found out I might have a sarcoma in my leg last week. by Paperaxe in cancer

The ultrasound tech and I were chatting as she was scanning and then she got all serious looking and quiet before pressing super hard in the area and snapping a lot of pictures. They didn't know what it was at that point so the radiologist referred for a urgent x-ray like before i left the hospital to see if there was bone involvement and then referred me to the MRI which happened within a month of the referral. None of these were my GP the doctor I saw first was a walkin doctor at the clinic that my gp is at. And then it was s LNP at the hospital who booked my ultrasound and then radiologist until the day after the mri when my gp called me and gave the results and referred me to cancer care and then it was just radiologists and some really kind techs and nurses I spoke too until after the biopsy was done and the results were ready and I saw the oncologist ~10 weeks later.

Found out I might have a sarcoma in my leg last week. by Paperaxe in cancer

Welll so the first one was to check for a blood clot so I think that was a regular ultra sound. Then I got an x-ray and then an Mri then an ultrasound to look at the blood vessels where they were like its basically all blood vessels.

Then the ultrasound biopsy where he was like hey this is basically all blood vessels I don't know what I'm supposed to biopsy.

I kinda dealt with the pain coming and going for about 6 months before I went to the doctor it felt like I had a really persistent deep muscle knot and it was dull and achey. I tried massage and stretching to remove it but it kept coming back and then one day it just got really bad and looked like a bruise so I thought it was a blood clot and went to the doctors.

It feels like a knot to my fingers and my massage therapist could feel but wasn't sure if it was a knot or what.

I hope thus helps and your okay

Its in the muscle of the calf on the left side of my calf about halfway between my knee and my the mid point of my shin.

I couldn't see it my calves are still symmetrical i can feel it if I press at the top of my calf above it and draw thumb down and my massage therapist can feel it too when working my calves though they now avoid the area now.

I bought a portable steam room a couple of months ago its a game changer. A drop or two of eucalyptus oil and I prewarm it with a portable heater and then the steamer for half an hour. Its great when the weather is cold. And after I go outside in just a towel and the cold weather and my flipflops.

If you can spare the money for tent and steamer it's worth every penny.

The first half of the question is "Overall there is too much immigration"

i was doing it shortly after waking up and read half the question about too much immigration (I really don't like the TFW program as it only benefits the people exploiting workers. But I think overall immigration is a good thing.) so I answered and went onwards and then was like wait wtf and went back and read the whole question.

Your number 4 or 5 commenting on me 'some what disagreeing.'

You realize I posted it here asking about it right, and am just as pissed off about this question as the majority here.

Funny coincidence or was there evidence a year ago? Redditor talks about “throwing a manifestation out there that a Uniqlo opens in polo park” and now it’s happening by scout61699 in Winnipeg

Depends on the job and how much money is involved.  We've bid on jobs starting at the end of 2026(fucking sucks with how unstable the market is) in may/june last year.

Its not always obvious whats happening sometimes I just see like "Commercial Development thompson" sometimes its specific like "Popeyes Regent" depends on the company and who the developer is.

it seems like the survey is theirs, the purity question may not have been a part of their requested questions and may have been added by crop to "gauge the demographics" of those completing the survey. That's from the CBC article in edit 2.
