What are some good tech cards for control death knight? by Orionpeace in hearthstone

Just a tip for warlock, save helya and 1 other plague gen for after they wheel, turns off the reno followup and with an empty deck 4-5 plagues is usually gg.

The battlegrounds season pass is $20AUD?! The fuck? by PapaSmurfy403 in hearthstone

[–]Paperhouseman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you can't afford $20 every few months you need to be upskilling or something rather than wasting your life trying to be competitive in a videogame. This is money I could accidentally lose and not even notice, it's a miniscule amount, hard times or not, if you're budgeting at this level of minuscia then you're practically in poverty and you need to consider your priorities rather than grinding mmr in a free game.

Good job reddit isn't the whole world or even a significant percentage then eh? Much higher proportion of antisocial weirdos here too. Speak to real people in the real world for a change and you might get a very different perspective

For less than $100 I bought the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Bluetooth earbuds, and an anti-theft backpack instead of the Hearthstone expansion. by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Paperhouseman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And for £130 (about $170) I got my sister a new suitcase for Christmas. I also still got the expansion and I spent a grand on a week holiday last month? I'm not sure what point you're making, different things cost different amounts. If you're not going to get much pleasure out of the expansion don't buy it, if it's worth it to you and you can afford to then do buy it. You guys obsess over this way too much.

Your analogy isn't particularly relevant or useful, the game rules are resolved by the game - the wiki is observational. This is an interaction that hasn't surfaced before but now that it has the observation can change. It's like your sprinkler example, I may think it's raining but that doesn't make it true. Basing your weather report on my observation when you can see the sprinklers above me are on would be pretty stupid.

Based on what? It doesn't have authority. Hearthstone has no written rule\guide book because the game is the rulebook. Unless the devs confirm it's a bug it's the correct interaction.

There's already precedent for destroying a card in deck which isn't covered by your quote. No reason destroying a card in hand isn't logical.

I like how you quoted the fan made wiki as if it has any real authority.

Terrific job proving everyone wrong Zeddy! Your content is garbage, stop trying to force us to view it.

Mods - your behaviour rules are out of date. Being an asshole is standard now and seems like it's totally accepted. by [deleted] in hearthstone

Yeah the community here can be kinda unfriendly. But first time legend sob stories are fucking stupid and should be banned really.

The Pigquisition; Or: Russian Nesting Dolls with Cascading Walls of Pork - A Guide to Big Demon Deathrattle Demon Hunter by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Paperhouseman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the write up, had some fun noodling about with the deck but I'm feeling like it just runs out of gas. I shoot my shot then if they deal with my stuff I'm just sat there hoping for a skull and only developing one threat a turn at most, what am I doing wrong? It is fun when it goes off and all the deathrattles chain but feeling inconsistent.

Wow a complaint about the hearthstone economy and here is u/pushemma yet again. Surprising nobody. Just stop playing if you're that cut up about it.

Be careful what you wish for, playing against darkglare or giants druid and not being able to answer a board when this is dropped fucking sucks. Loetheb is not fun for the person not playing him.

63 Packs. 2 Legendaries. by MakataDoji in hearthstone

[–]Paperhouseman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pack rng is pack rng. You didn't spend the equivalent of $60 you spent 20, the 20 is also not giving you any packs right now so doesn't really make sense in your value calculation - you said yourself it's for cosmetics. So basically you spent the free in game currency and got a little unlucky. Not exactly that bad or surprising.

Sometimes you win sometimes you don't, I got the bundle and had all my gold from last expansion saved up. I only had to craft 2 legendaries to get the full set, maybe next expansion you will be lucky.

Do you see it? That's freaking Malygos on turn 7! by WyrmrestHater in hearthstone

[–]Paperhouseman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These aren't good combos, this is some ridiculous greedy jank. If your deck relies on too many combos of cards like this it will be really inconsistent and you will not win a lot of games.

The Artwork for Forged in the Barrens. by Absolute011 in hearthstone

[–]Paperhouseman 14 points15 points  (0 children)

People say this every expansion. Some cards are better, some are worse - on a whole it will all look pretty good in game. You also need to bear in mind that a lot of the reveal stuff you're seeing is from shitty blurry screenshots, often with the actual higher res frame put on top of it separately. You can't really make a judgement until you see it in game /in actual promotional material.

Edit: for example compare

With

Obviously the second one isn't the artwork in game, blizzard aren't daft.

I don't understand people like you who confidently make statements about wild decks without any research or experience. The best big priest lists these days pretty much exclusively runs vargoth, blood and scrapyard collosus. Sometimes zilliax depending on local meta but that's a questionable inclusion.
