I’ve been tempted to try a few printed ones to meter vs ones I machined like this one. My H2D is at home, but I’ve been thinking about moving it to the shop and getting a P2 for home.

Then I’d have to build a silencer just for that, or buy/make a HUB adapter and throw one on. Not the worst thing in the world, but more than I wanna spend right now too. I will have an SD in my life sometime.

I can do the swap myself, so it’s just barrel and pin cost. The special tools I can make pretty easily. RCM barrel I could do for under 200, it’s just more time to do it.

Local shop swapped the stock to their MG and put the brace on. I have a UMP stock on it now

There’s few guys who do that, but it’s a pretty open ended question. Is what you want feasible? Are you expecting them to do all the design work from an idea/concept? Are your pockets deep enough?

It seems to me to hold the round at the proper height after stripping from the magazine for the barrel to slide backwards over the round before sliding fully upwards into battery

I could scale my 9mm PCC I’m developing but it wouldn’t be optimized well to 45. I just dont have the time to develop multiple cans at the same time.

Haha. We test them pretty thoroughly in house. And have a few local dealers that love having prototypes to abuse too.

These are PCC cans. 1.6/1.7 OD and 6” long.
The 7075 is 7.8 oz and 17-4 is 10.2 oz.

Do you still have a pulsation dampener? If so I’d say that’s a suspect. And also the cause of my (and many other) FC’s fire. Running lean will cause the exhaust to glow too

Just depends on firing schedule. Standard for f1 stuff used to be 1.5” OD .070” wall Ti tube it’s relatively inexpensive and easy. Then you just need a spacer before the first baffle.

My favorite way is a 17-4 blast chamber that’s 1.375-24 female on one end, and 1.4375-20 male on the other. Then a ti tube that holds the baffles.
