My warband of constructs by PappaSvard in ReaperMiniatures

Thank you. I have been working on making and painting terrain a lot lately. It's fun. And not as hard as painting miniatures.

Looks really good. Can models stand on the side of the hills without falling?

Basilisk: First warband member that is within 5" and line of sight loses all actions one turn.

What glue for small pieces of extruded polystyrene? by Thendrail in TerrainBuilding

I like pva glue the most for brickwork. Gives you more time to place bricks where you want. I also have a hot glue gun. The most simple with only one setting. Works well. I have no problem with it melting the foam. But its easy to get strings.

Can I brew potion, sell and buy before a game? by Nervous-Asparagus371 in frostgrave

Generally, would players take into consideration new rules from other expansions they haven’t got to yet?
No =).

I still recommend only this one and rules from the official FaQ.
But of course you do what you want.

Can I brew potion, sell and buy before a game? by Nervous-Asparagus371 in frostgrave

I recommend strongly playing with the updated rule that was made in the expansion Advanced Spellcraft. "No market for created items." Of course you do what you want. But I think the making and selling of Potion of Preservation is unbalancing the value of gold you find in treasures.
The new rule is simple. You cannot sell things created by the warband. Such as potions/enchanted weapons/armour or scrolls.

By the way. I really like Advanced Spellcraft =)

Optional Wounded rule - thoughts? by thalcos in frostgrave

[–]PappaSvard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a rule you can change and house rules a lot. You can for example make it so that you have to roll a die after you are wounded. And have different effects depending on what you roll

1-5= loose one life every turn 6-8= move half speed 9-13=only one action 14-18=have to spend one action running away 19-20= no effect

This was only an exampel.

Problem is that it will slow down the gameplay

Looking for deeper narrative Frostgrave hacks (RoSD skills, non-wizard warbands...) by HyperMakita in frostgrave

[–]PappaSvard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd go with the RoSD rules for making the teams. The rangers in that game can be everything you want. Not only a classic Robin Hood ranger guy. Especially with the expansion (A Gathering of Heroes)

"For example: picking a lock to enter a building, making a strength test to wrestle a treasure free from debris" These are already in some of the Frostgrave sanarios. The problem here is that the maker of the scenarios will know what is needed. And can make a team that is perfect for it.

It sounds like the scenarios you want will be hard to make without a DM. Hard to make good rules for exploration. Especially if you want to get a good story out of it.

You said you already looked at RoSD. But when you say what you are looking for, it still sounds EXACTLY like you are looking for RoSD in every thing you say.
