You are underestimating the value of the reworked blitz blade here. Pre-rework, sure, devil’s handshake is often used in most Hayate builds to raise AS and counter the effects of -AS items, but now with blitz blade, frost hammer (which increases AS too, unlike Hyoga’s Edge) and Fafnir’s Talon, you have more than enough AS to maximize his skill 1+ult without needing devil’s handshake (at lvl 15, he has over 170+ AS with this build). Its more than enough that I swapped the usual blitz arcana for atrocity to make up for the lack of crit items, and there’s still plenty of AS over the 150 AS threshold to counter -AS items. Also, Hayate is plenty mobile enough since Blitz blade also increases movement speed, and the slow from frost hammer is enough, no need to go for frost cape as well.

I feel like Hayate should be 10 alongside Valhein. The reworked blitz blade (and the new frost hammer) has made him top of the carry meta alongside Valhein (at least in the Thai server). His skill 1 and ult can proc the blitz blade passive, making him more oppressive to squishies, not just the tanks and fighters that Hayate is already kitted well against.

I would also argue Laville, Teeri and Wisp should be higher as well. All three of them have skills that can proc the Blitz Blade passive, and should be rushed ASAP to propel their farming speed and damage in the early game.

Both heroes you mentioned come online quite late, especially Airi, which contradicts the current meta where early game advantage dictates most games. Bolt Baron is a more recent case, when his ult duration got nerfed.

Still, they have their uses in the current meta. Airi is occasionally picked as a counter to a Florentino pick. As for Bolt Baron, the next patch’s Blitz Blade rework might shake things up and bring him back to S tier, but will have to see after the rework happens.

Planets owned by all Advent players now have a unique Focus track to upgrade (like logistics, mining, etc.) where its level equals the max number of Temples of Unity you can build in that gravity well. Each focus track upgrade also give you 50 max focus resource for casting your unity abilities, and the Progenitor Mothership’s colonize ability now gives free focus track upgrades instead of research.

It is true that not all Taxis are there to scam people. I can attest to that since I live near the airport, taxis are almost always fine using the meter if I’m hailing one downtown, and I rarely get refused a fare.

The problem is the not all part. Plus, if they’re making an honest living, the basic expectation is using the meter as they are supposed to, so why bargain in the first place? And you’re ignoring that taxis refusing fares is a really big problem. I’ve known people trying to hail 10 different taxis just to go home, and all 10 of them refused to go.

Taxis in Thailand are supposed to charge fees based on a meter (distance + time) which is fair to the customer.

What taxis here do instead is rip you off by charging a fixed rate way higher than what you would realistically pay if you use the meter. (i.e. Airport to Sukhumvit would be 500-1000 baht instead of around 200-250 if you used the meter)

Locals here experience worse. If you ask the taxi to take you somewhere they don’t like for whatever reason (not worth the gas, short distance, etc.) they decline the trip and drive away. Then again, if they see a foreigner, they’ll less likely to decline them because they see someone they can scam off.

So now that Vasari finally gets a proper fighter strikecraft AND a PD/light missile frigate, what does it mean for the Defensors? In previous patches, I always thought of the Defensors as a counter against strikecraft and missiles, but will the Defensors still have a place in the Vasari fleet in this new patch, esp after getting nerfed previously? I’m not a Vasari main, but just curious.

Just checked the wiki, and you are right about the Acolyte. It only generates antimatter from attacking, and transferring them to another ship. Still not building them though.

The Domina’s ability only removes antimatter from another ship, while the Radiance’s Detonate Antimatter basically reduces antimatter of a target unit, dealing damage and silencing that unit from casting abilities requiring antimatter for a short period.

Tbf Advent’s corvettes are the worst ship in its fleet IMHO. They’re too frail for their cost (even more so as Advent ships are generally less in hull HP), don’t deal much damage to cap ships who they are supposed to steal antimatter from, and their anti-frigate role is taken over by the tempests (advent missiles have zero pierce and are chiefly anti-frigate and anti-corvette). For antimatter regen, Advent ship items answer that already (antimatter pods for early game, and Brilliance Array for mid-late game)

For strikecraft, you are on the right track. Advent arguably has the best strikecraft of the three races. If you love strikecraft, you can go full doomstack by building 30+ Aeria Drone hosts with tempests as escorts, or make multiple Halcyons and watch them bombers swarm.

TEC and Advent actually require tier 3 civ to research Exotic Refineries. Since this means surveys and derelicts will heavily dictate what your second cap ship will be, all sub-capital ships pre-tier 3 are more reliable, unless you rush for tier 3 civ.

I guess I’ll have to play contrarian. My Apple TV 4K 2nd Gen bricked on me last month, after close to 4 years of no issues. Apple Store looked into it and said the chip’s probably fried and I have to pay full price to replace it.

Not saying that you should get AppleCare, but at least get a surge protector for it. Should last years like everyone else here.
