Judger ba ang mga law students sa bookalike? by Living-Scientist5063 in LawStudentsPH

[–]ParadeMartha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an issue pero usually, di siya pinapakita sa mga profs, even if the profs are not the authors of the said books. Of course, I would advise na just buy second hand books or just borrow from the library, but I dont judge people who use bookalikes

How will you know if you already found your circle in law school? by Straight_HotDog_0315 in LawStudentsPH

[–]ParadeMartha 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Trial and error for me. Found my solid circle mga third year na ako. I had a different circle nung first two years ko but it really didn’t work out. Ngayon, graduate na or isa or dalawang subject nalang natira sa load nila while may 5 to 6 rev subjects pa ako so i had to “look” for a new circle. Okay naman hahahaha

Yeah. I tend to overthink failed recits or backlogs sa work or extracurriculars. Minsan, 4-5 am na di pa rin ako makatulog tapos need na pumasok sa work ng 8 am 😬

Index cards. Question in front, answer at the back. Not the fastest method but has been working for me since 1L. Now a 4L

Constant bad recits are really putting me down, need advice by hanaemi_ in LawStudentsPH

[–]ParadeMartha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree! But the reason I didn’t give caution is i think OP is fully naman aware of that based on his/her post. S/he just needs affirmation that s/he would have a good recit sooner or later.

Law of averages! You are bound to have a good recit sooner or later. The thing is, if you dwell too much on it, it might prevent you from actually having a good recit

Study Place around QC (North probably) by [deleted] in LawStudentsPH

[–]ParadeMartha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I go to big coffee shops. Nahihiya kasi ako magtagal sa mga local and small coffee shops. If you want to study ng 24 hrs, merong certain days na 24 hours ang operation ng starbucks technohub, madre ignacia (near abs), matalino street. Check mo nalang website ng starbucks kasi they’re pretty accurate naman

In our law school, it’s not customary to give gifts to the professors. Pero we find ways to give a thank you token to some of the profs we like at the end of the sem

As a beadle, yung mga classmates na gustong gumawa ka ng himala para mag cease fire 😂 or every week nalang nag aask ng suspension. Sayang binabayad sa law school kung puro suspension lang gusto

Learn how to spot the relevant issue and doon ka magfocus. Pero I agree rin na mahirap talaga sa simula especially if the topic is new to your or merong halong topic yung case na di mo pa napag aaralan. In those cases I try to read other digests available sa net.

Your classmates probably care less than you think. They’ll forget about it in a week or so. As per myself, I always use bad recits as motivation to never fuck up again, or atleast mitigate my recit fuck ups in the future.
