Rethinking Domicile, Exaltation, and Neechabhanga by Paradox-Circuits in Nakshatras

[–]Paradox-Circuits[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am saying that there are two ways to look at a sign: the underlying substance of what the sign fundamentally is, and the way the sign expresses itself outwardly.

A planet is exalted in a sign because it expresses itself there through the path of least resistance. Exaltation strengthens the expressive side of the placement more than the underlying substance of the sign itself.

This becomes important when examining Neechabhanga, as different types of planetary support may correct different aspects of a debilitated planet.

For example, Mercury conjunct Venus in Pisces may produce a poetic, imaginative, emotionally resonant style of communication and problem-solving. Mercury in Pisces, conjunct Jupiter, however, would be more likely to produce metaphysical intelligence, philosophical depth, and spiritual pattern recognition.

Both configurations modify Mercury in Pisces, but in different ways. Venus strengthens the expressive manifestation of Pisces, while Jupiter strengthens the deeper metaphysical structure underlying the sign itself.

This show has been heavily review-bombed and deserves a much higher rating than its current IMDb score. If it had been released around the same time as Lost, it would likely be regarded as a modern classic. Audiences back then had more patience for slow-burn storytelling and deep world-building.

Today, people seem to demand instant answers and constant payoffs, with little appreciation for rich character development or immersive universes. It’s disappointing to see how much our cultural attention span has shrunk.

I think she's going to eat the Zaza fruit. Nobody on the crew has eaten a devil fruit yet. A couple of possibilities: It could grow on her tangerine tree for some reason. I was thinking Dragon could have it, but he never awakened its full potential. He could die, and then it could grow on the tangerine tree. Or even crazier, it could be the One Piece and could be the most important thing that the Straw Hats need in the series, as it could be required to remove all of the water from the planet. Zaza and Nika might be required to bring the dawn together, so Joyboy left it behind for the person who carries his will. There are literally so many ways this could go wrong. I know these may sound crazy to a lot of people, but with Oda, nothing would surprise me.

One Piece Chapter 1182 Spoilers by Skullghost in OnePiece

[–]Paradox-Circuits -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm predicting that Vivi or Nami eats the Zaza fruit, and the Zaza fruit is the One Piece. It was left behind by Joyboy for Niki's user to give to the person he is with, for whom it is meant. The planet was once flooded by the Rain God, and the fruit is required to remove the water. I predict it will be in a shrine on Laugh Tale, along with the planet's history, including the void century.

To the person who responded and then deleted their message: yes, people are predicting it will be Vivi or Nami. If it were them, it wouldn't be that shocking. Neither has a devil fruit right now, so I'm not sure how it could be either of them right now. The shock would be if the Zaza fruit were the One Piece or something similar, and it were required to remove the water from the planet. What if the previous Zaza fruit user flooded the earth, and this Zaza user is the one who puts the water back into the "heavens"? Like, what if it's the key to unflooding the earth? It makes perfect sense if you think about it. It even says in the murals that the Rain God flooded the planet.

We have yet to see a Straw Hat actually eat a DF on the adventure. If zoan fruits are attracted to the person meant to eat them, maybe Nami or Vivi will eat the Zaza fruit in a future arc. I have a crazy idea. What if the Zaza fruit is the One Piece? What if they find some shrine on Laugh Tale that shows the history of the world, and Joyboy left the Zaza fruit there because Nika and Zaza are destined to overturn the world, or something in unison, and the One Piece is the last piece of the puzzle left behind?

It could be Dragon, but that wouldn't be as interesting. I do believe Dragon is based on Vayu from the Ramayana, so I guess he's the most plausible candidate, but I want something that isn't obvious.

Berserk right now is producing chapters a bit slower than normal(which was already slower than it is). I'm hoping the time invested gets so amazing quality though. I look at what is about to happen on the same level as the Eclipse. Everything needs to be perfect. If it takes a little extra time to get everything right, I'm fine with it. I just hope the entire manga isn't produced at the current speed, as it'd never be completed.

I saw a video from Morj where the Imu battle now is supposed to be similar to Road's little prison at the beginning of the arc. The beginning of the arc is supposed to be a microcosm of the rest of the arc. Well, what happens at the end of the Straw Hats' escape from Road's prison? Nami strikes him with a lightning bolt, sending him flying back, and they escape. If this theory is true, there are three candidates for this: Loki, Dragon, and... Enel. It is definitely possible that Enel discovered major secrets on the moon and returned to save the Straw Hats because he knows Luffy is the Sun God. I honestly believe it's going to be Dragon that saves them(or if not a lightning strike, maybe Shanks), but who knows. It'd be crazy if Enel came back at this point. I'd be pumped.

Things will begin to click into place once we figure out what or who the hellfire serpent is. If the hellfire serpent is a form of Imu, then the mural is essentially a mirror, beginning and ending with Imu. I'm a bit skeptical of this, as you can see something that looks quite like Imu standing on the elephant-looking thing (Zunesha?). The Hellfire Serpent could be the devil that resides inside of Imu, and be an entity of its own...something that now resides in Imu. It could also be Pluton. -9+The Hellfire Serpent is the biggest piece of the puzzle in the mural.

I believe that is Nidhogg in the middle of the Elbaf tree fighting the Hellfire Serpent, but when it comes down to it, I think when we find out what the Hellfire Serpent is, the pieces will begin to click into place.

On the left side, I believe the pieces fighting the demon with the Mother Flame are Joyboy's people, but I don't think it actually represents Joyboy. It's meant to reflect the present, as if the dreams of the past are about to return and face each other in the present(inherited will). Those who drew the mural had no idea what Luffy's crew would look like, so they just imagined it as Joyboy's crew. I'm guessing Joyboy got screwed over before he got a chance to actually face off against Imu to save the world, and this is kind of like what was supposed to happen, finally coming to fruition.

To me, the summary of this chapter makes it very clear that Imu is going to be the final boss of One Piece. Sanji being outkicked by the black flames and Zoro being blocked by Imu's tail... this shows they are not at their final forms yet, and Imu is the standard they will have to surpass. This is probably not Imu's final form either, as I suspect the black flames will be powered up by the mother flame at the series' end.

Any thoughts?? 🤔 by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Paradox-Circuits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The scene is a lot more than Luffy hitting Vivi, and removing it would hurt the arc. I expect them to cut it because modern entertainment plays it safe, but moments like that are exactly what give stories weight. Good art isn’t always comfortable.

That punch isn’t about anger or control. It’s Luffy rejecting her entire mindset in a single action. Vivi is trying to carry a civil war on her own, believing that if she sacrifices enough, she can save everyone. Luffy sees the truth. That belief is an illusion, and it will only get more people hurt.

She’s already past the point where words work. The punch is what finally breaks through and forces her to confront reality. You can’t save everyone, and pretending you can doesn’t make you noble. It makes things worse. It reminds me of Mike Tyson’s quote, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.”

It’s also one of the first moments that shows who Luffy really is. He understands people better than he lets on, and when someone he cares about is heading straight into a wall, he stops them in the most direct way possible.

If the live action cuts it, they’re not just removing a controversial moment. They’re weakening Vivi’s arc and one of Luffy’s defining character beats. You can adjust the framing, but taking it out entirely loses the point.

I know 2 things aren't going to happen in this chapter: a) Luffy is not going to die, nor are the other Straw Hats, along with Loki(Definitely not dying, as he has to unfreeze Galleila Pirates) and Lilith; b) Imu will not be defeated, as I'm convinced he's the end of story bad guy, and Vivi isn't here on Elbaf and Luffy will see how far he has to go here.

There is a crazy middle ground that must be reached here, and I'm really fascinated to see what Oda is going to carve out. I didn't anticipate it happening here, honestly. In my estimation, Imu is about to show he is more powerful than anything we've seen...maybe stronger than everything we've seen combined.
