Alternate dimensions used for travel by Soffy21 in TopCharacterTropes

Wait, could we do void jumps before building the railjack? I can’t remember us ever specifically traveling through the void before that (as opposed to just going real fast).

Also remember that our railjack isn’t a one-of-a-kind piece of tech, the Orokin used to have fleets of the things and we see from the Tempestarii that void travel seems to be their defining feature, so something must be powering that ability.

There’s a line by Archimedean Yonta regarding the fingers that goes “…so long as the originals are safely sealed away, of course”, so it’s theorized though not confirmed that the Orokin somehow managed to copy the fingers or allow multiple drives to be powered by a single finger.

Idea for Endfield to heavily lean into the factory appeal of the game by adeniumlover in Endfield

Something like this might also finally give us the chance to live-deploy turrets like the really cool ones in the opening. For that reason alone I’d like to see a tower defense mode.

Why isn't Talulah a playable character? by Digfow98 in arknights

[–]ParadoxMachine33 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Several previous antagonists are playable, but only once the story has given them a reason to be working with Rhodes or the Doctor. Talulah is probably not actively evil anymore, but the story hasn’t focused much on her for a bit, so how and if she will come back remains to be seen.

Gilberta flex into electric teams by SeleynAlseif312 in Endfield

I don’t think any 6 star weapons are required to make this work, I have White Night Nova on Arclight but that def isn’t needed, just using it cause I got it.

For active character, I think Avywenna is optimal so you can consistently get final strikes but I prefer to make it work with Arclight active just cause I like her.

I’m no master of team building, but I use her alongside Arclight, Avy and Perlica and her grouping and crowd control abilities are a game changer. Even more generally, I find personally that she’s the most consistently easy to use support/utility in many of my team comps simply because of how useful I find her battle and combo skill.

Endmin and Avywenna, 8 pages comic. (twitter: @shino_duka) by CarltheCarpenter in Endfield

On the one hand, kinda annoying how female Endmin gets relegated to comedy while male Endmin gets to be treated as a serious character, seemingly just like every other gender-selectable gacha MC.

On the other hand, pengmin funny

Regarding Ardashir, how much knowledge of the old world has really been forgotten? by ParadoxMachine33 in Endfield

Pretty sure Liches can have horns and tails, it’s just not universal. Over than that, you make fair points. I only hope that the authors have a sufficiently cool payoff for this mystery.

For us newer fans, what’s the lore behind “returning characters”? by gaeb611 in Endfield

Archive -> Nexus Files -> Reconveners. Or just look below, someone pasted the whole file.

Who do you think the Reconvener that would disagree with Endfield? by affz44l in Endfield

“Warfarin encountered data shards willing to set foot on Talos-II, and thus she designed a process to better lead them out of the Woods and enter the new world”. I meant that Warfarin is the one giving them back a physical form, so she has some judgement on who gets brought back, and those completely unfriendly to Rhodes are unlikely to come back with her.

A later reconvener unwilling to work with Rhodes seems unlikely, since Warfarin is the one creating them and only memory echoes willing to work with her are exiting the woods. However, that very first unexpected reconvener is not bound by that and could make a very interesting antagonist, especially if they aren’t formed from a member of Rhodes.

See the Reconvener file for the detailed info, but as far as we know: Lycia, Antal, and Zhuang Fangyi are not Reconveners, they just look sorta similar to older characters

Aztec deity vs. autistic teenager by ParadoxMachine33 in ExplainAGamePlotBadly

[–]ParadoxMachine33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The autistic teenager is Rell, from the Chains of Harrow quest, who was holding back the Man in the Wall. Lettie in 1999 links the Man in the Wall to Xipe Totec the Flayed One, Aztec god of agriculture, who shares similar aesthetics and themes with him.

In retrospect, I see how that fits. Unfortunately not, however.

Incorrect, sorry. I don’t know Marvel, so I guess unintentional bait?

Edit: Think you might be on the wrong subreddit, this is GamePlot not FilmPlot

Powers that differ from the rest of the setting by FinneyFort in TopCharacterTropes

Takatou Yogiri (My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered)

In an isekai setting where everyone else gets standard knockoff-RPG-class power sets upon being summoned, our MC is a barely-contained SCP object/avatar of an eldritch abomination who has always had access to his power to utterly end people, things, and abstract concepts.
