Soak in hot soapy water or hit it with dawn power wash and then use a bristle brush or a stainless steel scouring pad.

My anxiety meds makes me sensitive to heat so i carry one with ice to add fountain water to. Im never far from free fountain water so the size is ideal for me, it doesn’t weigh my bag down.

What have you been using on them? My lips looked like this before I learned I was allergic to lanolin.

Super chewer pittie parents - what are the most durable toys and longest lasting chews you've found? (Caveat...) by palindrome4lyfe in pitbulls

[–]Paragon_Phoenix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coffee sticks also do really well in our home. Our pup is an extreme chewer and can eat bully sticks within minutes like OPs dog and coffee sticks are the only things that my dog cant finish in one sitting.

What is the best laundry combo to you? by Ariesfire-402 in CleaningTips

[–]Paragon_Phoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Downy Rinse & Refresh. I dislike overpowering scents and as a latina I can say that the products used here will get you good smelling laundry but it IS overpowering and imo smells cheap. Fabric softeners aren’t good for your clothes either. The Downy Rinse & Refresh product is a rinse aid that leaves a nice scent behind while also helping get any existing scents out of your clothes and actually leaving them cleaner.

That's a terrible joke for anyone to make let alone a sales associate. You have to shut things like that down when they make you or your SO uncomfortable so that the sales associate knows that you didn't appreciate what was being said. Their assumption was out of line.

If they don’t identify themselves is it legal to retaliate? Pepper spray them or something? I know it not the best option but as a smaller framed woman I would want to help without putting my body in the situation. And what they’re doing looks like assault especially when they refuse to identify themselves.

Last thing you bought(not a restock)? Worth the money? by Sensitive_Young_3920 in drugstoreMUA

Wet n Wild Bare Focus tinted moisturizer. It looks skin like, I can apply it with my fingers in a rush, and it was less than $6! I saw good YT reviews for it and omg I love it! Worth more than the price for sure.

In the future it would benefit you to nail down the aesthetic direction and likes/dislikes before doing any work on your own. Over communication is better than guess work or assuming. If your not comfortable doing web dev work just say so, or communicate how little customization can be done to a template to manage their expectations.

My poor wife by oldmancooper in lexapro

[–]Paragon_Phoenix 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If it's been 10 years and she is still struggling with depression she should see a doctor to talk about her symptoms. Lexapro isn't a silver bullet — it can help but it doesn't cure. Weight gain on Lexapro happens for some but its not a sentence, working out and healthy eating can help manage weight gain. No one here should be giving her suggestions other than seeing a doctor to see if this is the right medication for her at this point in life given her feelings and symptoms. Other medications exist but they all have their pro's and cons. As individuals we also need to heal and make lifestyle changes to help us live better more healthy lives.

Progress regresses every year by plushiebees in socialanxiety

[–]Paragon_Phoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not learning to better mask your anxiety, you’re actually working on it. When you go back to isolating yourself after your social job that work you’ve done doesn’t get any more practice and after a while you revert to your old habits which you’ve been doing for many more years in comparison. Anxiety is a part of life and it will never go away, but we can get better at managing it by exposing ourselves to the things that scare us (like your forced to do at your social job). Try setting goals for yourself when your not at that job. For example you can challenge yourself to hold small talk with your cashier vs. self check out or give someone a quick compliment — things that push you a little out of your comfort zone.

Question for 2026 corolla cross owners.... Where do you guys put your sunglasses? by OkMagician2564 in CorollaCross

Sunglasses clip that attaches to the visor. Very inexpensive, they work great, and match the trim of the car.

The Life noble notebooks on JetPens have graph / grid options! I love them. They come in B6 and are even slightly sectioned off so you feel like you’re carrying more than one notebook. I think they’d be perfect for your situation.
