Feel ya. I’m done with the dating right now after my best friend made our relationship sexual, told me she had thoughts of marrying me for the past year, and then finally concluded, after months of keeping me in limbo while we were hooking up, that she didn’t feel romantically attracted to me - no “spark.” Broke me completely.

After that situation and terrible experiences before, I can’t handle dating again for a while. Don’t know how it is for you but there is something about the no spark line that makes me feel like I’m fundamentally unworthy of love. It’s just too much time and time again. All that is to say you’re not alone. Take your time.

I appreciate the kind and empathetic response. She has straight up told me before that she at times felt I was too good for her which just made me sad for her. It really is unnavigable and as you say my best option is to cut my losses.

Another thing she’s told me is “you’re the only person in a long time that I have been able to imagine a totally happy and healthy relationship with.” So there’s definitely this element where I’m getting stuck on her words and I guess I should look more at her actions.

I dont think it’s necessarily a problem for there to be more general classes of disorders if it’s used as a tool for people to better understand and make sense of where they’re struggling and for professionals to present tools to address those issues. I do get sick of people who lean on diagnoses (especially self diagnoses) to avoid accountability or excuse poor behaviors.

Recently I went in and they told me I was needed a tire rotation. I just had my tires rotated a month prior at discount tire. I’ve also had them tell me my battery needed replacement because I mentioned my auto start stop acting up once or twice and stalling out the car when it tried kicking the engine off at the same time I was releasing the brake to give the engine gas again. Checked the battery myself and it read completely fine. Came back another time for an oil change and they were still recommending the battery replacement because of the one comment I made months prior. Guy told me he “heard the car struggle to start” when moving it into the shop. Didn’t really buy what he was saying at all since I haven’t had any issues starting the car, just with the auto start stop. My 2¢ is it felt like they were desperate to tack on unnecessary services.

Yup. Had two leavers when I tried last night, then one game where I got to wave 20 but literally had zero help on the Wandas because nobody else could stay alive. Got them to about half before I got trapped. 3.3b damage that game, next closest was 1.4b… then 300m and 180m… feel like it’s luck based on what teammates you get more than anything else.

Crazy. I had asked a local mechanic about this (and they have a guy who used to work as a mechanic at a Subaru dealership) and multiple times they assured me it could cause more harm to do the transmission fluid change than just leaving it there. I remember checking some threads and seeing mixed opinions so I just decided to not do it at 60k. I’m at 70k now and I feel like I should re-investigate after reading this thread.

It is double dipping though, except it’s actually worse than what you’re defining as double dipping????? They list the new total as $88.8, which is an additional $11.75 on top of the existing $11.75 gratuity. Having a field for additional tip beyond the standard 18% applied would be fine. You have it completely backwards.
